Called 10 minutes prior to arriving asked if there was carnitas available they said yes; 30 minutes after they take our order waitress says there’s no more carnitas but pushes substitutions. Thanks for the waste of 40 minutes and $7 for drinks; hope it was worth the bad review
Love it here, great tasting food. Very authentic. Not to mention the great Margaritas.

Based on the reviews, Carnitas Querétaro | Mexican Restaurant is a favorite spot, always a good experience with amazing food. They make homemade tortillas. The Caldo de res is really good, and the tacos with rice and beans are delicious, as are the breakfast enchiladas. The food was amazing as always, though one visit found the food a little on the cold side. Prices are reasonable. The service is excellent, with waiters who are very attentive, kind, respectful, friendly, and speedy. One specific waiter is noted for being very nice and checking on customers. However, there was an issue with a request for onions in enchiladas, where large squares of onion were placed on top instead of mixed in. Also, they charge for refills on limonada.
