During our visit, I ordered the sampler, which included a variety of appetizers and small plates that showcased some of the restaurant's signature flavors. My wife chose the country-fried steak, served with creamy mashed potatoes and fresh seasonal vegetables on the side—all of which were cooked to perfection and richly flavorful.

I do not know why this Cracker Barrel was empty at lunchtime. We can't even get into the parking lot at our local one in Georgia. Food was good, but gave 4.5 stars due to the pintos being completely dry somehow. There were absolutely no juices in the bowl, but the rest of the food was perfect. Waitress was also the hostess, but we had great service. I did enjoy the quiet as that is unheard of at other locations. Still confused why no one was eating here. It's...

It was sort of surprising tonsee how the food portions have changed. Smaller yet the pricing is a little higher. Food costs, or what? Either way that was a little disappointing. Service is always excellent, and i enjoy the novelty items in there country story.
