El Chihuahuitas Tacos Al Pastor

Food and customer service is always on point. Best Mexican food restaurant in the northeast. The tacos al pastor are really good.

i'm vegetarian/vegan and this place was DOPE. firstly, our server was very friendly and attentive. She was happy to make an avocado torta without cheese. The bread is fresh baked and made just for this restaurant (they are huUUge Tortas).
The enchiladas have the best red sauce in all of El Paso. salsa's were incredible and served with chips at the table.

The food was amazing.

I really enjoyed the meal here. Good portions, great salsas. Beans with chicharrón were a nice surprise. The al pastor potato with the rich butter was decadent.

3/30/25 I love the menudo at this place. Today was loaded with meat. Always happy to see Betty. Such a nice lady.

The food here was not bad, but it was not good either. Nothing special at all, bordering on not good.

1st time there. We had the lent menu. Will go back for sure.

You'd be better off calling them before picking up, getting a to-go was a tolerable 15 minute wait, and the el pastor tacos were very small, with not much el pastor meat for each taco.

I assume the portions are meant to consider the pineapple and meat ratio, but this was a mediocre experience.

This is our weekend to go place .. Betty always makes us feel so welcomed. All my family went to celebrate my son's birthday and her and the other waitress were awesome.. Thank you again . we will continue to go back

Food was great and excellent customer service

Normally I’m one to highly recommend this place to others. I even recently had this restaurant cater my son’s birthday party and it went great. However after today I don’t believe I’ll be ordering or dining in for awhile. It really does take one really bad experience to change your mind about a restaurant. My family and I went in mainly for some capirotada in which we never found out if they was still any available. Our server gave us there regular and lent menu in which my husband and I looked dumb trying to order items that our server then decides to mention that they’ve practically run out of everything. So then I make my order which our server takes then walks away and never took my husband nor my sons order. While we’re waiting thinking she was going to come back people start to show up and the server manages to take every table that came in after us orders and drinks and continues to pass us and just forgets about us. Finally my food is brought out by someone from the kitchen and we’re still ignored I had to get my own utensils to at which I barely ate my food because it’s not fair that I have my order but my husband and son still have nothing and the rest of the restaurant was attended to just fine with no problem. Our server had the nerve to say sorry it’s just her serving the tables. Which is not an excuse when the restaurant is small. I’ve been in the service industry and that was the most annoying excuse we could’ve been given. I’d understand the I’m sorry I’m the only server excuse if the place was much bigger but in this case it’s very manageable for even just one server that’s including Togo orders. It’s so unfortunate to have been given this type of service at one of our favorite restaurants and now I just hope they do better and give this young lady server better training and customer service training. This restaurant has definitely lost my business for now and my recommendations to others. Tbh it was so bad I really was going to walk out but we were decent enough to pay for what we were at least able to order.

Great place to eat and very reasonable just loved it we will return again

This is the best place for Saturday morning menudo. The tacos are delicious and the tortas are huge. The staff is always friendly.
