Taqueria El Cometa Reviews
Saliendo del estacionamiento del aeropuerto, le pregunté a una empleada donde me recomendaría unos buenos tacos. Ella me recomendó El Cometa. Dijo que las flautas están muy buenas. Muy buena recomendación. Si me gustaron.
at least on the N.Mesa location, they have the same girl handling the register (money ,c. cards) putting the cuttlery on the plates just comming out of the kitchen, also serving the drinks puting the lids on with the same gloves she handle money. just careless about contaminating the dishes not only from covid, but all the other hazards like salmonella, etc.
if you want to stay safe, stay away from this place
I went here yesterday to eat some flautas and they were cold and the manager was an a****** said I could not get something different that it has to be the same plate so I just got my money back and left I highly do not recommend this place they're rude they are very rude as far as management the people behind the counter were nice and polite as well as the waiter... But as far as the flautas I do not recommend you order that they suck!!!!

Taqueria El Cometa is a restaurant that offers traditional Mexican food with a variety of salsas and popular dishes like tacos and al pastor. The atmosphere is fast food style, with customers ordering at the counter and food brought out to them. Many reviews highlight the food as good and delicious, especially mentioning the baked potato with cheese and carne al pastor, which is described as very tasty. The six flautas de sebrada also received praise. However, several reviews point out issues with cleanliness, such as dirty tables and greasy floors, and inconsistent service. Some customers experienced delays in receiving drinks or had to remind staff about missing items. Service can sometimes be impolite, with security guards reportedly responding poorly to customer questions. One reviewer noted that the staff's handling of food and hygiene was concerning, with some pointing out unprofessional behavior like touching ice with fingers. Despite these issues, the restaurant is appreciated for its authentic Mexican flavors, quick service, and honest staff, with one worker commended for returning a lost debit card. Overall, El Cometa is appreciated for its good food, but improvements in cleanliness, service, and staff behavior could enhance the experience.
