Mariana's has two locations and their guisados are very savory. My only complaint is that they don't make enough of the favorites. If you do not go before 11am the picadillo is sure to be gone. If possible call them ahead of time to see what they have left. Their flour gorditas are made fresh daily and their green Chile will make your mouth water. I have been eating this gorditas for more than 6 years always awesome, but ever since they changed "owners" or "management" they are not the same, quality has downgraded and flavor too. I used to bring every person I knew to try them, so sad they became what they are now. They are not made with love anymore.

A friend of mine came up from Austin. He grew up here on El Paso and wanted to grab a bite at an old spot he liked. Of course I was down cause you know food.. so we pulled up to a little place had that old school feel. Nothing spectacular. My buddy bragged about the gorditas.
