“What a vibe! Soft music with eye pleasing dining area with natural light to start your day off right. We started with the Stanton house breakfast which is eggs your style with bacon or sausage, pancakes or toast, & orange juice or coffee. What a delish experience. We didn’t leave anything on our plates.“
“My husband and I just took a trip to El Paso and went to several restaurants in town, including Conico Cocina. This was by far our favorite meal during our trip. We had a few of the appetizers and one of the entrees and shared. Everything was delicious! I also really enjoyed their Sangria. Thanks again for the fantastic service and wonderful food. We will definitely come back next time we are in town!“
“I walked in with a party of twelve on a lively night. Despite it being near closing time, the hospitality was outstanding. Endless chips, ordering recommendations, drink refills at the right times — on top of everything, all the food was delicious and at a great price.Great find!“
“Although the parking is extremely limited I beg you to disregard that and enter this fabulous space. The decor reminds me of a quiet bistro. No music, no TVs! Upon entering you see the open kitchen at the far end. The decor is minimalist but still lovely. The bathroom is pristine! I just could not decide what I wanted to order so I chose the Carrot/Ginger Soup and Red Bell Pepper Tartare. Once my food started arriving I knew this was a restaurant I would be visiting often, at least to give everything on the menu a go. I rarely take photos of my food but these menu items were so spectacularly perfect I could not help taking the photos so I could continue to enjoy thinking about what I ate. Onto my meal: The Carrot/Ginger was wonderful. Lush and smooth it was beautifully prepared. It is the only soup on the menu but it was a stand out. Next let me tell you about the tartare: I have enjoyed many tartares in my time, be it steak, salmon or numerous other ingredients but I had never had a vegetable tartare. This was wonderfully presented and scooping up mouthfuls with the crispy lavash was great. Very flavorful. Lastly, I generally do not order sweets because as the name suggests they are sweet. The Canelé de Bordeaux was the perfect little bite. Not overly sweet but again a beautiful little treat. We should gather together, hire a bus and come here to relax, eat wonderfully prepared and presented food and just discuss all we are eating! Who's with me on this?“
“I love their cafe de ollá. I tried the enchiladas rojas, an where very delicious. My husband tried the huevos rancheros an was very satisfy with the taste of the food. Nice staff and owner. Very young men who has great customer service to the client. I notice he goes on and beyond to make sure his clients are satisfy with what they want to order and if he does not have it, he will try his best to make it for you. I highly recommend this place. Get there early. It's kind of small. They also have menudo everyday. Open from 7 am till 10 pm.“
“Stopped here on the way back from Hueco Tanks for breakfast and was completely surprised. Service was great and the chilequiles and enchiladas montadas were amazing. Both red and green sauce were excellent. It's been days later now and I'm still craving it. Price is very good too.“
“First time here and the flautas were amazing! I had the 6 mixed... 2 Chile w/ cheese, 2 deshebrada and 2 shrimp...must say the chile w/cheese were a nice surprise and the deshebrada were very good as well... I did like the shrimp too, but there just didn't seem to be enough shrimp... the real highlight of this place, tho, is the salsa bar where you get to pick what you want on your flautas and how much of it! Great spot and definitely recommend! I'll be back for sure!“
“It isn’t exactly like Taqueria Ajiji in Juarez, but very comparable! The Pastor with pineapple and cheese was amazing and honestly good prices for now a days. I’d recommend these Tacos instead of most places in El Paso, but not in JuarezThe service left a lot to be desired “
“Best burger value overall downtown, bar none. If two of you are looking for a light lunch, the burgers are big enough to split. This place has greatly improved since opening. The menu has a taste for any appetite. Very crowded at meal time, says it all.“
“"Historic" location, great food, great staff. Excellent tacos, put on the green sauce. The red sauce on the enchiladas is the best. Looked a bit creepy on the outside and there were biker warnings on the door.Wheelchair accessibility: None. Unpaved driveway, rough steps to enter. My wheelchair bound wife waited outside for take out.“
“We went today when they were celebrating their second anniversary. Totally recommended, they have been there several times and definitely today when they had several specials they did not disappoint us! Everything was delicious and the service was excellent!!! The tacos al Pastor were much tastier today that they had the meat on the top! That gives them an I don't know what I know. The quesabirrias were also delicious and the governor tacos were finger-licking good. Thank you and congratulations for many more years to come with lots of clientele!“
“Wowww y wowwwDelicious. Good prices, great service and atmosphere as well.Everything is fresh and I’m definitely coming backWe had classic churros (Nutella and Strawberry) it was so good that I even forgot to take a pic of our churros.Need to go back and take that picThank you for having us :D“
“Food was great I had the burger, chips and salsa was amazing. Service was super fast that may have been to the restaurant being empty, but I believe they have overall fast service. Staff was super helpful and engaging. I will definitely visit again when I’m in town.“
“Kiki's is always great, although this particular visit when we arrived they told us it was a 30 to 40 minute wait so we left and went to Ay Carumba. My out of town guest was disappointed because he was really looking forward to eating there. But we were on a short time limit and we could not wait for seating.“
“This place is a gem! Tucked around the laundry mat don’t let that deter you. The food is great, the staff warm, friendly and. Attentive. You will feel like family here. The food. . . Wow!! The barbacoa is excellently braised and succulent.the plate comes with Spanish rice refried beans. Everything feels like your grandma prepared it herself. Truly homemade feel and taste. The rolled tacos (flautas) are ridiculously good and excellently fried- crisp; yes- while still retaining the light flakiness of the shell. Each of the sauces were fantastic. While I was here many folks came in that were regulars - the staff greeting them as though they were old friends. I highly recommend this place!!“
“Love coming to Chilabox for a nice lunch in the peaceful courtyard out front. Fast, great chilaquiles - I recommend the Chipotle flavor - at a good price in a super welcoming environment. And you have to appreciate a local business breathing some life into union Plaza!“
“Good burrito, has molletes which not many places have even thought it's super simple to make. Small but cute place. The waitress was super busy, but she was hustling still taking care of everyone. Also, left my phone at the table by accident and she kept it safe for when I came back for it.“
“Friendly quick service. Too much cilantro in the salsa! Nice menu verity. Had the Texas fajitas, which were very tasty. But portion size doesn’t meet the $25 price tag. Plus why do I need to pay nearly $6 more for sour cream and cheese ??♂️Very odd in my opinion. I’d possibly go back, probably wouldn’t get the fajitas. The restaurant feels very old, a lot of stuff going on with decor and it’s very dark.“
“I had not been here since retiring from work over 5 years ago, my loss. Today 7/26/23 I drove in from the George Dieter area for a take out order. I’ve never seen such care and pride from any restaurant, in getting an order boxed and ready to take home (I order take out very often from various places). And of course the food and serving size…amazing as always. Thank you (Mr Owner) sir, for the all-aroundexcellence! Well worth the drive, see you again soon! FC“
“Side Notes:•My camera is damaged at the moment so the quality is not as it is in person!!•We arrived 15 minutes before Google says they close which was 5PM and they stayed open serving food even after we left which was 6PM. Gonna have to stop by or call and see if they are open.Got a craving for some Birria Tacos so the family and I came to try this Food Truck spot. Due to the amount of establishments that get the dish wrong I didn't know what to expect.Upon arrival you can quickly see your Menu options and are greeted by the staff. The staff here were very kind as well as professional during our visit and made ordering easy. We ordered several orders of Birria Tacos as well as their Birra Grilled Cheese which I personally have not yet had or seen so we had to try it. For our beverages we ordered a Mexican Coke and several Strawberry Horchatas, a beverage I have also never seen or had before. It was not busy so the wait was little. They own the building right beside the food truck so we were able to dine in! No messy car and no waiting to get home! The place was clean, the tables and seating were clean, the air was fresh and the ambience was relaxed. Outside there's plenty of parking space. Our food came and the anticipation was over. Quickly I understood the prices. Here they are very generous with the portions. Normally establishments give slim tacos with small sides but not here. The tacos are loaded with meat and cheese and sides are plenty. The little consomé cup was filled rather than being at half. There was plenty of radishes, onion, cilantro, lime slices as well as their in-house made chile de árbol. After devouring the tacos we all tried the Birria Grilled Cheese and it was fantastic. The sandwich had their Birria and cheese on some Texas Toast which I believe was dipped and fried. First time to ever try it and it is a must try!The Strawberry Horchata was also very good so we ordered several! A beverage that we believe you should try!Overall we are very happy with our visit! We had no issues of any kind. The prices are higher than average and justified. Our meals were absolutely delicious! The staff were kind and professional. At the time of our visit parking was plenty and seating was plenty. Definitely one of the better spots for Birria Tacos and we will be coming back! The photos are current as of today 10/20/2023.“
“This place is AMAZING! They always have fantastic service and good food prepared in a reasonable amount of time. Usually I go to a restaurant for one amazing thing I like on their menu but everything on Tejas menu is delicious! We've had just about everything. The Deluxe Club and Cheeseburgers with french fries are great! Their pancakes are absolutely amazing! Fantastic menudo and barbacoa too! They have a fantastic wait staff who are happy all the time, we especially like Daisy.“
“Love this place for menudo! I been coming here for awhile and the staff is so nice \\u0026 they have great prices for their foods/products. They did advise they will be moving to 512 San Marcial in a month so keep that in mind. (Avisaron que van a mover a 512 San Marcial en un mes*)“
“They just moved into a new building because they outgrew their old location. I had Llevos Rancheros, which was very good. The chili was excellent. Coffee was ok (I'm very picky about my coffee). The refried beans were ok but not great. They have their own parking lot and there was a parking lot guide person : I'm not sure if this is normal. Pricing was very reasonable.Overall, it's a good place to try out.Parking: The parking lot is not huge but adequate. Street parking is also available.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible with wheelchairs.“
“Personally I feel this is one of the very few real Pizza Oven pizza joints in El Paso that is worth a %#*+! Great crust, tangy sauce and fresh toppings..always the right amount of char on the undercarriage. Plus..the service is great! Also..don’t forget to try their flautas…Oh..the prices are great compared to the chains.“
“If there was a way to give this place more than 5 stars, I’d give it much more stars! The food was prepared and served with such care. I had the huancaina truffle pasta, chicha morada (a pitcher is highly recommended), the ceviche amar, and a pitaya margarita (perfectly made). There is a kid friendly option not listed on the menu. Please ask your server for the option offered. The huancaina truffle pasta had so much flavor and even though I was full, I couldn’t stop eating it. The chicken was cooked just right. The flavors were like a a beautiful waltz in my mouth. That’s as best as I can describe it…it was that good. The chicha morada, was beyond delicious! I should’ve gotten the pitcher but I was really busy with my pasta lol.The ceviche amar was so flavorful! The coconut milk that they add to it makes the entire thing just balanced and delicious. The flavors of a regular ceviche but with some extra flavor that gives a both refreshing taste and a slight lime punch at the same time. The pitaya margarita was mixed to perfection. As beautiful as it looked is just as good as it tasted. I highly recommend!!!Highly recommend this place! The atmosphere gives a relaxing, vacation type of vibe. The plants and decor are so thoughtfully laid out. It feels so welcoming and yet makes you feel like you’re on a trip somewhere.Overall, it was wonderful!“
“Tried this place a year after the rest of the state had stopped masking and they wouldn't serve me, but I decided to give them another chance. 4.5 stars overall. Very pleasantly surprised. Great food, great prices, great service. Small but not cozy. Wish it was a little roomier because I think they could swing it. I will definitely return.“
“Was driving by and unexpectedly saw the food truck spot tonight and decided to stop by. As we entered our first decision was to go to Triple count as I approached I was greeted, and I let the nice lady know that my family and I have never been and she offered me a free sample, we ended up tasting it and we loved it. We ended up ordering the “Birria QuesoTacos” and their Lemonade agua fresca which we LOVED! Will definitely be going back, thank you for the hospitality and kindness.“
“The food was solid, but didn't have as much flavor as I would hope from Mexican food. It was a pleasant place to eat (especially if you're a Dallas Cowboys fan) and the service was good. It did the job for an earlier breakfast as there were fewer options available.“
“10/10!! This is a MUST have for El Paso Mexican Food! ? CASH ONLY!!! ? Generally, when I want authentic Mexican food and imagine what true authentic Mexican food is, the food from Tortilleria Crystal is what I imagine. This was by far the best Mexican food we have had in a while. We will certainly be going back soon! My wife ordered the Mole, and I ordered the Enchiladas! It was incredible from the first bite to the last bite. Thank you!Parking: Parking was fine. There is an open dirt lot near the paved parking lot if there is not very much parking.Kid-friendliness: Our daughter enjoyed the music on the TVs and she also loved the food!“
“Getting together with friends or family at this location is the best overall service and delicious food. Staff is friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is welcoming with light and color. Eduardo is ensuring the business continues with it's success. Thanks for having great Mexican food. Keep up the work!“
“Walked in to the place it was small but had a good vibe. Owner took our order and sat us down . We ordered colitas de pavo and a combination on that had ham steak winnies and a shredded beef . They were so good at first we didn't think we would get full but the fries hit the spot. We were stuffed and their salsas we on the spot. My son said that was our new father son go to place and he is very picky. I wish we would have had a table not a both but place is never empty.Parking: Plenty of parking and easy to get toWheelchair accessibility: They will make sure you are seated comfortably“
“My aunt and uncle the twins and I, enjoy going to lunch. This time I wanted to try out a different Mexican Restaurant. My Aunt knew where to go. Chicken Enchiladas. All three of us ordered the same thing. The meal comes with Caldo de Rez. Great decision tia.“
“Cafe Mayapan has some of the most delicious, authentic food I've had. I was super pleased with my order and the food was well worth it. What inspires my rating the most, though, is the cause it supports. As their website states: "When preparing menu items, we ask ourselves: what are the foods of our ancestors? What ingredients do those contain? Can any of those ingredients be sourced locally?” Cafe Mayapan is owned by La Mujer Obrera, an amazing organization dedicated to creating community and fighting for women's rights.“
“Martha is a sweetheart she will make you feel like home, the food taste like homemade food but the salsas are the best in town, simple and cozy, and Martha she is funny and cheerful, don’t be rude if you are expecting the food to be otherworldly, the food is 100 percent homemade Mexican food and Martha she will make sure you have a good experience, you won’t find someone liked her in El Paso, she will cheer you up so be kind ?“
“This restaurant rightfully deserves 5 stars across the board. If I could rank higher than 5, I would. This place is that damn good. The food was out of this world amazing, and the portions are huge. All the dishes were so well seasoned, and everything just melts in your mouth. You will, without a doubt, leave wanting more. The staff are so welcoming, friendly, and accommodating and are very attentive; especially if you have little ones. I really can't say enough good things about this place. Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend. 15/10 stars. It's 100% my new favorite restaurant here.Parking: Parking lot surrounds the restaurant and there are plenty of spots as long as the restaurant isn't packed full. It's a mom & pop restaurant, so it's small.Kid-friendliness: The staff love kids and will help you with them as much as they can. My eldest daughter kept asking questions to our waitress, and she was more than happy to get down to her level and answer them. She even let my daughter try dishes/drinks she was asking about and didn't charge us for it. They also brought out my kids' food as soon as it was done and before anyone else so they could start eating while it was hot and fresh. Their kids menu has a good selection of different dishes just in case you have a picky eater.“
“Ordered the red chiliquillas with beans. The overall flavor was great. The only downfalls were that the red chilie was cold, and the over medium eggs were a bit overcooked. Other than that, it was awesome. Great taste to the chilie, not hot but a good spice to it. The price is a little bit higher than most, but the serving was also big. I will be back to sample more of the menu. Awesome customer service! I also sampled the red and green salsas, and both had a pleasant bit to them. Can't wait for the next visit.“
“Always amazing breakfast!!! Our favorite is the green chilaquiles with over-easy eggs. Beans are made in-house. Tostadas are made in-house and so good! Their salsa is great! And hot. And always polite and sweet servers! I like them all ♡ By far our new favorite breakfast spot in the far west side!“
“The Milanese cake is the best in El Paso. Here you can see the dedication they put into the dish and the attention to detail. I always want to steal a good green sauce because it is delicious with everything. Price and value are in a very good balance.“
“The food is very delicious, the barbecue burritos, egg and ham were very good, the orchata water was also very delicious, the only thing is that the place is very small and the day we went it was very full, but we could find where sit down to eat. But the service was very fast and good.“
“Mi pueblo is great ?? foodTasty menudo on Saturday's They have great Mexican ?? food and cheese burgers and drinks yummy ??? three ? soups tortilla and fideo and res beef. Come eat here you'll be happy ??? if you do thank you SukiWheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessable“
“We recently stopped at RedSand Kitchen on the way back from Hueco Tanks. We were so pleased with our meals -- everything was incredibly fresh! The Samalayuka burger was so interesting and delicious. My daughter, who has ordered Buffalo chicken sandwiches all over the world, said that the Buffalo chicken sandwich she got at RedSand was one of the best she's ever eaten. You can tell that the owners use quality ingredients. Speaking of the owners, they are super warm and welcoming. After we ate, we sat and visited for several hours. The owners did not rush us out, and even chatted with us occasionally. This is such a great little restaurant -- we plan to go back each time we visit El Paso.“
“Youtuber from San Francisco visited this place so I had to check it out. I enjoyed the food. The beef "caldo" was quite tasty as well as the salsa "macha" and complimentary tortilla chips. Service was attentive and waitress was friendly. Price point is average. They have diner/bar seating if you want quick “
“Great snacks and everything tastes great but they take a bit long even when you’re the only one in the store. The great tasting snacks make up for how long it takes. I’m not an impatient person but they’ve taken 30+ minutes every single time I’ve been “
“A small hole in the wall down montana. After walking the front to order, they brought us some tostadas. I like to rate them everywhere i go. The kids and i rated them 4.5 out of 5 stars. They were warm, fresh, lightly salted and crispy. As for the food....amazing! Everything was fresh and in a good size amount. Not disappointed. Definitely coming back. Only downside, they do not serve beer.“
“As a self proclaimed expert in the field of birria, this was the first thing I looked up when coming to El Paso. I ordered the plate of 4 birria tacos, and it did not disappoint. Tacos were hot and delicious. Consume was also hot and full of flavor.“
“Amazing delicious flautas. I believe I got the bistek ones and omg best Mexican food I tasted in El Paso. The salsas where also very tasty and perfect. The customer service was amazing. Very happy I found this place. I love that they are open late so I can enjoy a nice late dinner.“
“I swear on everything this place has some of the most delicious Mexican food,I know your thinking you smoked yourself stupid, great Mexican food at a burger place. Well it's true check it out if you don't agree I will buy your next “
“In town for UTEP spring game, came by Andale for the first time. The campechana cocktail was amazing along with the Cadillac on the rocks Rita. Our server Genesis was amazing, very attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, friendly and customer service focused. Will be back again.“
“I’ve been coming here for years and hadn’t visited in a long time until recently and it hasn’t changed! My go to has always been torta milanesa but I also tried the chicken quesadilla and a mango agua fresca and they were both so good! It’s a cute little place, and service is great.“
“food was amazing and the service was astonishing. my server ally was great! she was very quick but paid attention to detail with care and a great attitude definitely recommend her as a server and will definitely recommend the restaurant as a whole.“
