“Came through since we are passing through town- this place is phenomenal- the wife husband duo are great to chat to, friendly and helpful. They don’t use seed oils! We had dinner asada tacos so soft and fresh- and came back the next day for breakfast it’s that good. This place is a gem.“

Menudo is very good, its kind if spicy for kids though. Overall good!! The tamales are delicious aswell! I usually dont order green chicken because they tempt to be dry, not here!! They were good in a flavor and moist! Now, lets talk about that barbacoa. I have tasted from alot of places since my kids love it. This one was one of the best barbacoas Ive had. It was not greasy, it was just perfect. I will definatedly come back!!!“

“This place has some of the best tacos I have had and for a cheap price! I got the tacos al pastor it comes with 6 tacos and 2 sides I got it with French fries and rice. This plate was so good I would recommend it. They also give you a bean soup to start with. I also got the tripitas I'm very picky when it comes to tripitas and they where also excellent. If you are lookin for good tacos for cheap this is the place to go! Highly recommend.“

“When we visit El Paso, we typically stay at the Embassy Suites right next door to this location of Chinampa. Yesterday I skipped the Embassy's complementary breakfast because I had a morning massage, so afterward, I was starving. My husband and I decided to just pop next door to Chinampa. We were seated right away and the waiter brought a basket of chips. We helped ourselves to the extensive salsa bar; all choices are delicious and we soon found our favorites. Even though it was 12:58 PM and they officially stop serving breakfast at 1:00 PM, the waiter said he would be happy to take our orders for breakfast. It was ready in no time, and prepared exactly as I asked: a vegetable omelette without cilantro but with plenty of cheese, red AND green chilaquiles, and extra-crisp bacon! The coffee flavored with a touch of cinnamon was a perfect addition. All this for only $12.00. The place is clean, filled with natural light from large windows on three sides, and while not elegant by any means, charming with local authenticity. I know the made-to-order omelette at the Embassy Suites is free, and their homemade salsa is good; however, Chinampa is MUCH better and still a bargain. There are three other locations and I haven't been to the others. I can definitely and highly recommend this one!“

“This food truck never lets us down. They have a few different burger options but our favorite is the montada with tripa. Their tacos are also super delicious. We.love the fact that they have so many salsa and other toppings that you can add yourself to your food like onion, cilantro, guac, green salsa, red salsa, jalapenos, cucumbers and other things. My son is 5 and he literally asked to go give them a compliment about how good the food was. They also have tables set up in case you want to eat there btw.“

“Family driving through El Paso to AZ. Decided to try them out rather than same old fast foods. Wish there was more meat per taco and the Elote could have been more tender or cooked longer. Otherwise, well flavored tacos (barbacoa, buche, chicken fajita), quesadilla (barbacoa) y burrito (carne asada) including their aguas frescas (we tried all 3). They were extremely nice and friendly. Would definitely come back to support this small business for sure!“

“After having some of my & my husband’s coworkers recommend this place for tacos we just tried it out. The al pastor tacos were full of delicious flavor and all of the salsas were so tasty. The rice and charro beans were good as well. The staff was very kind, even though I came in a little close to closing time to order to go. We definitely will be back to try more!“
