Family driving through El Paso to AZ. Decided to try them out rather than same old fast foods. Wish there was more meat per taco and the Elote could have been more tender or cooked longer. Otherwise, well flavored tacos (barbacoa, buche, chicken fajita), quesadilla (barbacoa) y burrito (carne asada) including their aguas frescas (we tried all 3). They were extremely nice and friendly. Would definitely come back to support this small business for sure!
Tripas were delicious and on point . They give condiments and salsas on the side to add to your liking.
the most delicious tacos i’ve ever had! my boyfriend & i come here constantly specifically for their tripe tacos, truly my favorite taco spot in el paso!!

Tamaulipas Tacos serves great-tasting Mexican food, including authentic tripitas and barbacoa, with a perfect mix of flavor and quantity. The tacos are filling and burritos are amazing. Despite the limited selection, the food is excellent. The restaurant has a drive-through and outdoor seating, but no indoor seating. The building may not be impressive, but the food makes up for it, making it a great spot to visit and come back to.
