My server was outstanding: knowledgeable, efficient, and confident. She even shared a brief history of the restaurant, which was a great touch for a first‑time diner. The food was executed with precision. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned just right, and the lobster tail was tender—not gummy—showing proper technique. My only minor complaint was the plate size; it felt a bit small, making it slightly awkward to cut the steak. A small inconvenience, but worth noting.

Although we had to wait because there was a mistake with our order being placed our waiter Diego was incredibly kind and got the mistake addressed and fixed right away. He made sure our food was fresh and apologized for the inconvenience. We have never had a waiter that was so quick to act and as kind as Diego tonight! “I have been to Mac's several times and try to get something new each time. I drive into El Paso a few times a year and I always stop by here. they make the most amazing flavors of cheesecakes. this last time I tried a new dessert which was a bourbon bread pudding. Oh man it was to die for! but I think this lost weekend I found my favorite dish. Grilled Salmon with an amazing mushroom lemon sauce on a bed of rice. its served with a refreshing and crisp spinach salad on the side. they have amazing po boys lobster mac and cheese and other favorites but this Salmon with the mushroom sauce is by far my favorite. I almost went in again for another plate before I left town lol. The people there are amazing they're friendly and attentive. 5 stars And I always recommend them to my friends and family and El Paso. they've never been disappointed! thanks Mac's for never letting me and my hungry fam down! 💕“

We got the ramen spice level 2. If you usually go for a spicy ramen this is it. If you want a more subtle spice a 1 might be for you. The Yuja (honey citron drink) is SO GOOD! Our waitress was the sweetest & recommended it! 5 star spot!“

Everyone was super friendly and welcoming and it didn't take long to get waited on. Alex, my server, offered many recommendations on light choices and popular drinks. This restaurant swaps out their menu based on the time of day, but some remain, if the customer ask. The whole experience was worth it and I will be going back to try another dish.“

“My son's girlfriend wanted chicken alfredo, so we decided to have dinner at the OG. They both ordered the chicken and gnocchi soup to start, but neither liked it (they're both extremely picky). I ordered the minestrone, and I finished it, but it was very salty, which is par for the course with OG and a major reason why I haven't eaten there in years; I'm not a big fan of excessively salty food.
Both my son and I ordered the mango iced tea (?), and OMG! It was so sweet! Too sweet for my liking, so I gave it to my son. His girlfriend got the strawberry lemonade and seemed to enjoy it.
They both ordered the chicken alfredo: his with broccoli, hers without. I ordered the herbed salmon, and it was very flavorful, although (again) quite salty. It came with broccoli, but it was soft, which I didn't much care for. I asked our server for unsweetened iced tea with LIMES and specifically asked her for the GREEN ones, and she brought me a slice of lemon. I wasn't surprised, though, because that's usually what happens when I ask for limes.
We didn't order dessert, but my son really likes the mint chocolates our server brought to our table at the end of our meal; she was nice and high energy.
Overall, the experience wasn't bad, but I don't think I'll be returning, just because OG is not the first place I think about when I want authentic Italian cuisine.“

Comida corrida, piping hot lentejas to start, flavorful corn gorditas, agua de sandia with sandia bits and ending in chice of deserts!!! What a delicious and nostalgic lunch experience.
