Genuinely my favorite place to eat in El Paso, I always look forward to when they open and any time I go in it’s the highlight of my week. They serve a lot of different kinds of ramen and udon as well as a variety of other dishes, highly recommend the yakinikudon, it’s though it does take the longest to make.
Food does take a while to come out so definitely don’t come starved, but it’s sooo worth the wait. It’s a really good place to go with friends. Super small...read full review

Matsuharu Japanese Restaurant offers an authentic Japanese dining experience, transporting customers to the flavors of Japan. The tonkotsu ramen, with its perfectly chewy noodles and delicious chashu, is a standout, as is the crispy, tender chicken curry. The gyoza and onigiri also receive high praise for their faithful recreation of Japanese cuisine.
The restaurant's decor may not be the best, but customers praise the small but cozy atmosphere and the impressive skill of the sole chef who runs the entire kitchen. The food is described as fresh, flavorful, and made with care, with generous portions. Customers love the authentic ramen, which is considered the best in town, and the curry katsu is a favorite as well.
While the ambiance may be outdated, the food makes up for it, with the tonkatsu ramen being praised as amazing, with the right balance of flavors and tender pork. Matsuharu provides an authentic and enjoyable Japanese dining experience, despite any shortcomings in the decor.
