“I recently dined solo at Double Eagle Restaurant in Las Cruces, and it was truly a memorable experience from start to finish.
The historic building immediately sets the tone; classic New Mexico elegance with a refined, old-world steakhouse atmosphere that makes the evening feel special the moment you walk in. It’s dramatic, beautiful, and full of character.
What truly made the night exceptional, however, was my waiter, Christian. He was charismatic, attentive, incredibly knowledgeable about the wine list, and genuinely enjoyable to chat with throughout the evening. His service felt polished and effortless.
The highlight of the night was the tableside Crêpe Suzette made by Christian; easily one of the best I’ve had in a long while. Prepared with confidence and flair, it was both delicious and entertaining, the perfect finale to a wonderful meal.
Even among a few less-than-gracious diners, my experience remained outstanding thanks to the atmosphere and Christian’s impeccable hospitality. Exceptional service elevates a meal, and I personally had a wonderful time.“

“Don’t sleep on The Shed. The staff is friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is bustling and lively, and the food is simply divine. I certainly had the appetite to try everything but my stomach told me otherwise.

“Having just moved to Las Cruces, was looking for new places to try. Stumbled across Cafe de Mesilla, and was not disappointed. A very quaint and charming little restaurant with one of the best breakfasts I've ever had! I could live off the country potatoes alone! Perfectly cooked. Highly recommend!“

“We had a beautiful event here in the outdoor patio . Thank you EQNM for the food 🌈❤️. It was great company and always wonderful meeting new people from our community. Make you feel at home we’re everyone knows your name ❤️. The food is exquisite from the tapas to the pasta with the jalapeño bacon sandwiches dear lord the Cauliflower amazing ❤️. However let me tell you about the prickly pear lemonade dear lord to die for 😋. Now what are you waiting for don’t think about it ! Next event call Russell or Christopher make it happen! You won’t regret it , then head inside for some dinner , wine and dine and why not cheat a little get some dessert and a little extra to take home ! I did 😃 Thank you for a wonderful evening and not kicking us out 😂 We will be coming back this weekend for more 😉“

“I went there today for the first time since moving to Las Cruces a few months ago. The food was excellent. Steak was cooked perfectly. There was a great atmosphere about the place. Clarissa was our waitress and to be honest, one of the best waitresses I've ever had. She was attentive, quick, and exchanged playful banter with the table. If you can get more employees like her, you definitely should. I'll absolutely be back. 10 out of 10.“

“My family and I had the best service and food at El Sombrero. A big shout out to Marin. She's the best waitress we've ever had there. Friendly quick and suggested things we would like. Plus quick on the refills. The absolute best service from her. Thank you! She made out time lovely. Plus the ground beef taco plate is the best in town. The salsa is delicious too.“

“I order every 3 to 4 months for a couple of years. 3 days ago, I ordered sweet and sour pork with my order. The pork was black and dried, never happened before. Lo mein is delicious so is everything!“
