“I recently dined solo at Double Eagle Restaurant in Las Cruces, and it was truly a memorable experience from start to finish.

The historic building immediately sets the tone; classic New Mexico elegance with a refined, old-world steakhouse atmosphere that makes the evening feel special the moment you walk in. It’s dramatic, beautiful, and full of character.

What truly made the night exceptional, however, was my waiter, Christian. He was charismatic, attentive, incredibly knowledgeable about the wine list, and genuinely enjoyable to chat with throughout the evening. His service felt polished and effortless.

The highlight of the night was the tableside Crêpe Suzette made by Christian; easily one of the best I’ve had in a long while. Prepared with confidence and flair, it was both delicious and entertaining, the perfect finale to a wonderful meal.

Even among a few less-than-gracious diners, my experience remained outstanding thanks to the atmosphere and Christian’s impeccable hospitality. Exceptional service elevates a meal, and I personally had a wonderful time.“

“First time being here and we loved it. Good portion of tostadas and salsas. Although, I didn’t like the green one as I’m not a big fan of tomatillos but the “avocado” salsa (not sure if it’s made with avocado or not) was wonderful. I ordered 2 asada, 1 barbacoa and 1 tripitas tacos. I like that you can order a variety of tacos in the order. My husband loved his tripitas tacos too and he said the limonada was excellent. Service was excellent and our server was very polite. We really hope this local restaurant keeps going because it can potentially become one of our favorites. I want to go back to try the lengua tacos since they were all out today. Highly recommend it!!!! 👍🏽“

“All their food is fresh no can junk all fresh stuff they're tortillas are freshly made they're corn tortillas and their tortilla chips all made fresh in the factory and restaurant there. If you like fresh Mexican food made homemade with all natural ingredients good serving sizes this is the place to go. If you like Burger times rolled tacos you have to go here they make them just like them actually a little bit better they're excellent and like I said so is everything else you must try it“

Great service and I had an awesome server. I thought the refried beans had an odd texture to it though. I was sitting in the bar area. I’ve never heard of a restaurant charging you $1 for a side of flour tortillas The dining area lights were a little harsh. Also, if you pay with a credit card you get charged a little bit more. I know I’m splitting hairs here. I would give it an 8.5.“

“We stopped at Los Mariachis as we were hungry and it was rated a 4! Not sure why it wasn’t a five!🤷🏼 It’s truly a five star restaurant!!!The service was fast. Yvonne was a great waitress and we were a group of 14! She didn’t write down our selections and brought us everything we asked for! No mistakes! She a pro so ask for her! The food was hot and generous and authentic. Don’t pass this place up! Quaint and so good! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️“

“This business is ran by an older couple that cook everything themselves. Authentic mexican food. Amazing service since food comes out pretty fast. Prices are some of the lowest i have seen in las cruces. 1000% recommend this restaurant. I feel right at home.“

One of the times I picked up some burritos I was with my dog and my burrito bag came with a little sharpied pup🥹 The girls are always so kind and I always enjoy getting food from here. “Food was great and chips and salsa but asked for 2 barbecue tacos and told only sold in 3? Okay, why are you serving onions and cilantro on the side? Just give me the taco with nothing to build? Got a sprite bottle with tip
close to 17 for 3 tacos and a soda. Not returning.“

“We stopped here because I heard they had ceviche and I am glad we tried the place. My husband had the shrimp cocktail, which he liked but he said he would order something different the next time because he wants to see what other dishes they make. I had the ceviche with shrimp and octopus. Very tasty! Atmosphere is very basic but mostly because it is a very small place. Probably around eight or nine tables. I would go back.“

Was told they will be extending the hours until 1900 hours. They closed at 1500 hours, we got there alittle before, so still good. Sure they were also ready to go home.“
