“We absolutely loved the food - best sashimi we have found in EP so far. Although our servers were nice people, they were forgetting items we ordered and had trouble remembering when we asked for more water, another tea, etc. Kind of seemed like they were distracted or maybe the music was too loud and had trouble hearing? In any case, we will be back.“

“As a regular at Sunny’s Sushi, I stopped by without a reservation this time. The manager noticed and still sat us at the sushi bar—no issue at all, and it’s actually one of my favorite spots for the close-up view of the action.
Our server Charles was excellent: attentive, efficient, and on top of everything. The entire staff stayed sharp and coordinated, and the chef right in front of us took great care of our orders, making sure everything came out perfect.
The food was incredible, as always—fresh, flavorful, and consistently top-tier. Sunny’s never disappoints on quality.
Highly recommend for anyone craving reliable, high-quality sushi in El Paso. We’ll be back soon.

“I was in town craving sushi and this popped up. I had my family with me including my two baby girls. I was kind of impressed on the prices but once the staff going above and beyond with appetizers and a gift from the sushi chef. It really made my daughter’s day. That was just the introduction. The food!!!! It was delicious! Originally went for sushi but they had great selection I had to try. It was rich in flavor and reminded me of the Korean dish I had when I was stationed there. It was worth every penny! Again the staff and our waitress were AMAZING!!!“

“I love this place. Complimentary miso soup when you dine-in??? Insane! and their sushi is amazing in my opinion. If you hate this place I probably hate you. Also the Asian market has the best ice cream sandwiches with a great variety of flavors. I love this place. That’s all.“

Wish there was an option for steamed gyoza, not just fried, but that's just me being picky, it's still delicious.

If you're calling ahead or putting in an order, just make sure to verify which location it is, as there's another one in El Paso. Nothing negative to say about either place, just something that could cause confusion. The employees usually clarify upon answering anyway, but there's always someone who misses it over the phone when unprompted, if they don't know about it. So, fyi.“

“We got out off an appointment late and needed to find something that served gf and were still open. I was so grateful they were willing to take our order even though we came in towards the end of the night. They were patient and explained my gf options. They even provided convenient containers with plenty of broth to-go do or meal would be fresh if we were taking it some distance. We would love to come back when in the area sometime.“

“This is the 4th time coming here and so far the food has been great, the teas taste good and the service has been excellent today I had the Singapore Mei fu, my wife had the House special Lo Mein and both dishes were awesome we ordered the Godzilla sushi roll I thought it was great my wife liked it but she didn't like the fishy taste but other than that it was very good. Today we tried there ice cream it was very good, taste more home than your regular ice cream the only thing it's like 8 dollars for a small portion but for once in a while it's ok. We really love this place so far the food, service have been great I give actually 4 and half stars, and I highly recommend this place.“

“Well I went to dinner there for Valentine's days. My husband was holding our son and trying to calm him down so I can eat. The cook was very rude about Mexican women should be the one watching the kids. After that comment. The whole table was looking at me. The cook was unprofessional and made rude comments about my husband who is white. He speaks some Spanish more then me while I don't speak any. The cook thinking because my husband is white he could talk shit about my husband in Spanish. My husband said a couple words in Spanish and he started talking shit about me. My husband was not happy about it. I was so excited to come here. I will never come here again.“

“Finally made it over here and I was quite satisfied. The enthralling delivery via the conveyor belt was definitely an experience. I like the fact that you can sit down and start pulling plates off the belt. Ideal for superseding the ordering process. Some items are not featured on the belt, but are quickly produced upon request such as their Spam musubi. The seats are a little too close and I kept touching this dudes elbow and he made a comment. I wanted to put wasabi in his eyes.“

Only negative was the poor fishtank at front looks really cloudy and dirty every time I come in. So I gave a 4 on atmosphere. But I highly recommend.“
