“As a regular at Sunny’s Sushi, I stopped by without a reservation this time. The manager noticed and still sat us at the sushi bar—no issue at all, and it’s actually one of my favorite spots for the close-up view of the action.
Our server Charles was excellent: attentive, efficient, and on top of everything. The entire staff stayed sharp and coordinated, and the chef right in front of us took great care of our orders, making sure everything came out perfect.
The food was incredible, as always—fresh, flavorful, and consistently top-tier. Sunny’s never disappoints on quality.
Highly recommend for anyone craving reliable, high-quality sushi in El Paso. We’ll be back soon.

“Teppanyaki Grill & Buffet offers just about every type of food you can imagine — burgers, Kung Pao chicken, sushi, fried chicken and everything in between. As expected with such a wide range, nothing is truly exceptional, but several items stood out. The sushi was good, and the fresh‑cooked steak was an unexpectedly great highlight. The fried chicken, on the other hand, was extremely dry. I finished the meal with soft‑serve ice cream, which was a nice touch.

The entry process was confusing for a first‑time visitor. You pay at the front, but then you’re supposed to move to a separate line to be seated. There are no signs explaining this, and I only figured it out because someone behind me stepped in to help. After that, I waited a few minutes before being seated.

Once inside, the service was excellent. The waitress explained how everything worked, stayed attentive, cleared plates quickly, and kept drinks refilled. She was easily one of the best parts of the visit.

The restaurant itself is large, and a soccer game was playing while people cheered loudly — not a problem, just part of the atmosphere. The only real downside is the layout. The tables are packed tightly, and there’s no clear path through the dining area, making it feel crowded and difficult to navigate.

Overall, Teppanyaki Grill & Buffet delivers good value, a massive selection, and great service, even if the experience has a few rough edges.“
