“I have been to Mac's several times and try to get something new each time. I drive into El Paso a few times a year and I always stop by here. they make the most amazing flavors of cheesecakes. this last time I tried a new dessert which was a bourbon bread pudding. Oh man it was to die for! but I think this lost weekend I found my favorite dish. Grilled Salmon with an amazing mushroom lemon sauce on a bed of rice. its served with a refreshing and crisp spinach salad on the side. they have amazing po boys lobster mac and cheese and other favorites but this Salmon with the mushroom sauce is by far my favorite. I almost went in again for another plate before I left town lol. The people there are amazing they're friendly and attentive. 5 stars And I always recommend them to my friends and family and El Paso. they've never been disappointed! thanks Mac's for never letting me and my hungry fam down! 💕“

“We spent the day in El Paso shopping from Las Cruces and what a great experience we had! our server, Tanya was attentive, knowledgeable, and very friendly. The food, appetizers, and drinks were on point and delicious. The manager, Sonny came to our table and introduced himself and made sure everything was up to par. We most definitely recommend and will be going back!“

“We had a great experience all around tonight at the Angry Crab Shack. We were greeted at the door with at smile and seated immediately. Syd, our server, was great - friendly, knowledgeable, and gave great suggestions. Our food was served quickly. The portion size was good , and it was hot and delicious. The blackened catfish had terrific flavor a little kick with an Asian flare. We loved it! We will definitely be back. Love having good seafood nearby.“

The service at the door was fantastic—quick, polite, and professional. Even on a Friday night, there was no wait, and I was seated immediately. My server was outstanding: knowledgeable, efficient, and confident. She even shared a brief history of the restaurant, which was a great touch for a first‑time diner. Complimentary bread was a welcome start.
The food was executed with precision. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned just right, and the lobster tail was tender—not gummy—showing proper technique. My only minor complaint was the plate size; it felt a bit small, making it slightly awkward to cut the steak. A small inconvenience, but worth noting.
The atmosphere was dark, quiet, and refined. Low lighting and subtle background music created the perfect environment for a high‑end dining experience.
Overall, Ruth’s Chris is worth at least one visit. Go in expecting to pay premium prices, because that’s part of the experience. Between the service, the food, and the ambiance, the value is clear.“

“Mariscos y Garnachas La Chilanga is nestled in the right corner of the parking lot of the Bronco Swap meet. It is a family operation and on this particular day I had the pleasure of meeting Juan, who together with his family own the food truck. I was craving mariscos and decided to pay this place a visit after reading the many positive reviews and great photos of the food. Don't worry about seating, there are four tables available inside with plenty of A/C. Let me just say that overall, I was beyond impressed with the quality of the product. Who isn't hesitant to eating seafood in the West Texas desert? To drink, I had a very refreshing limonada that helped beat the heat. Juan brought out an amazing salsa with cilantro and roasted chiles. The salsa is ten times better than any Mexican restaurant with their typical red and green sauces. This was a refreshing change. I began by ordering a half dozen oysters and they were very fresh, plump and so damn good. I killed them in 3 minutes . Next, I had a tostada de camaron and again the freshness, and quality blew me away. The texture and flavor were a 10 all the way around. Next Juan brought out a caldo de pescado and camaron. The shrimp and fish were fresh and flavorful. It was served with rice, onion, and fresh toasted bread and butter. This place is hitting on all cylinders. The aguachiles negras were served for the grand finale. Flavorful and not overly spicy. They were perfect. I definitely ordered wayyyy too much food but I ate every damn thing. This place is such a hidden gem I encourage you to pay Juan a visit. Phenomenal food. Eat local.
Ps. Don't sleep on their homemade sauces!“

“The catfish nuggets are crispy on the outside while flaky and tender inside. Service was good. Even though there was a line, my order was ready in a reasonable time. The pineapple coleslaw is something I will come back for time and again. This is a very popular place so don't expect to be in and out in a jiffy. Good food takes time to be this delicious.“

“I was pleasantly surprised by how good the tacos were. The shrimp and steak were well-seasoned and flavorful in the fiesta tacos. The pulpo shack tasted good, but I would have liked more octopus. The house tuna tostada didn't taste as good as it looked unfortunately. The service was decent, but our table had large crumbs on the seats and under the table, it took away from the atmosphere. Overall, an above average reasonably priced experience“

“The food is good, especially if you enjoy Mexican seafood. The soups are excellent and are one of the highlights of the menu. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the restaurant is clean and well maintained.

The biggest drawback is the service. It is the slowest service I have experienced in the downtown area, so I would not recommend this place if you only have an hour for lunch.

Overall, it’s a good option for Mexican seafood if you’re not in a hurry and have time to enjoy the experience.“

“I was in town craving sushi and this popped up. I had my family with me including my two baby girls. I was kind of impressed on the prices but once the staff going above and beyond with appetizers and a gift from the sushi chef. It really made my daughter’s day. That was just the introduction. The food!!!! It was delicious! Originally went for sushi but they had great selection I had to try. It was rich in flavor and reminded me of the Korean dish I had when I was stationed there. It was worth every penny! Again the staff and our waitress were AMAZING!!!“
