We had a great experience all around tonight at the Angry Crab Shack. We were greeted at the door with at smile and seated immediately. Syd, our server, was great - friendly, knowledgeable, and gave great suggestions. Our food was served quickly. The portion size was good , and it was hot and delicious. The blackened catfish had terrific flavor a little kick with an Asian flare. We loved it! We will definitely be back. Love having good seafood nearby.

Angry Crab Shack on Mesa in El Paso is a fabulous spot for seafood, widely considered the best seafood boil in town. The service is outstanding, fast, and attentive, with staff noted as wonderful, sweet, and helpful. The food is great and receives high recommendations.
The menu offers many choices, featuring seafood shipped in every 2-3 days. Popular dishes include the Dungeness crab clusters, snow crab, and king crab in a boil bag with traditional seasoning, which is slightly hot but very tasty. Customers can choose from about six different seasonings and select their preferred spice level, from mild to very hot. The seafood boil with the trifecta sauce is beyond expectation. Other standout items are the fresh raw oysters, the traditional northeast lobster rolls with Maine lobster, and the Jambalaya. Sides include corn on the cob, seasoned fries, and a shrimp bowl.
The restaurant has a full bar with interesting cocktails, including a true red beer El Paso style. It is an excellent experience that many customers plan to return to and have made a go-to spot.
