Jalisco Cafe Reviews
I came today because they claim to be the best in El Paso, I was very disappointed, it was barely eatable, far from being the best and the coffee was the worst ever. I guess at one time it was good ,but not today.
This place was recommended to me for their delicious menudo. The tripe was very tender and the broth had amazing flavor. Super deep and rich guajillo pepper taste. If I could have eaten more, I would have. Be advised that the chili powder on the table is very hot. I should have been more careful. Jalisco Cafe is a cozy, hidden gem of a restaurant, located in the El Segundo barrio area, near Bowie Bakery. Known for its friendly staff and cash-only policy, it offers an ATM on-site. The menu primarily caters to Spanish-speaking customers, making Google Translate a useful tool. The restaurant is famous for its Menudo, which many consider some of the best they've ever had, along with the burrito de Picadillo and Flautas de Carne desebrada. Guests appreciate the authentic and welcoming vibe, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy a meal. While it is only open on weekends, Jalisco Cafe provides excellent value for its prices. However, it can get crowded due to its small size, and some customers have reported inconsistencies in quality on certain days.
