Mexican plate was not good. Tamal was dry had no flavor. Chile relleno was as thin as a tortilla, no cheese inside. The Gordita was the size of a silver dollar and dry. Beans were black and the rice was sticky. Overall plate was served cold had no flavor.

I was disappointed with my experience at La Reina Restaurant. I ordered the steak plate with beans and fries. The fries and beans were good, but the steak was extremely salty and very dry, making it difficult to enjoy. I expected a much better quality meal, especially for the price. I hope they pay more attention to seasoning and how the steak is cooked in the future.

Food is good but $10 for this tiny torta with barbacoa is ridiculous, didn't even come with fries or anything else. I can go to Rainbow and get a combo for that price.. The burrito is bean and cheese and that was priced ok. Because of the price and size of the torta I am giving them 2 stars

The food tasted great, I got the gordita plate. Was disappointed that the gorditas were on the smaller size I do realize it's a new ownership. Compared to The original La Reina the Gorditas were Reg size. Not worth getting the Gorditas here for what you pay. They do have great flavor and all. Just not what I expected. They almost seem like they are the size of a silver dollar. Maybe a 2 cm bigger not much. Although the brisket was delish, not sure if they actually weigh the 1lb. If you're taking it to go. It seems on the smaller end as well. It's a bit pricey for it. Though times.. I guess...

I need to admit I only buy their tostadas, they are amazing, since the previous owners the tostadas are made perfect and last fresh to, all my family and friends buy from them to, highly recommend the tostadas and I’m sure the food is delicious too, the tamales and masa are.
