Had the mexican plate and a large menudo. Mexican plate was what you would get at abuelitas house good homemade quality. Menudo was flavorful and just a bit spicy the way I like. Tripe was cut into small pieces and easy to eat. Bread was toasted with butter and soft. TV's on the walls were broadcasting the news and im sure they have the games on also. I had a good experience and will be back for round 2 of the menudo.
Thirty-one years of consistently good food at Martha's Mexican Restaurant. I had not been here in decades, but the food still has that homemade flavor. I hast the comida corrida which consistently of a caldo de rez, I ordered the chile rellenos plate and followed by a tasty Mexican rice pudding! The food was delicious, the salsa had some nice heat without overpowering the food, and it was good flavor. My server, Sophia, was attentive, and quick with serving my lunch order...
Ordered a burrito, chilaquiles and some fries. Fries were black and soggy, burrito was amazing but the chilaquiles were the most bland food I’ve had in awhile. Would not recommend, especially not for 18 bucks. There are def better breakfast spots in EP than here.
