Heard from a neighbor that this was the local eatery. 1:15 in the afternoon and still pretty crowded. Authentic Mexican Cuisine in which the lingua Franca is decidedly Mexicana, reminiscent of restaurants in Juarez. Somewhat on the basic side, in that you have to get in line and pay your bill when you're done., and they don't serve water with your beverage, the thought I'm guessing is that everybody must order a menu beverage, and then there is the powdered creamer...
I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and the food has always been consistent and delicious. It’s one of those places that just feels like home. Always great to see Albert—he’s a familiar face and always takes time to chat. Martha’s is an iconic spot that’s been part of the community for years, and it never disappoints.
Intimate, cozy atmosphere. Quick service, friendly staff. Speaking Spanish will help. The bacon that came with the French toast was great. Loved the taco and gordita on the Mexican plate.
