Perol Restaurant Reviews
We absolutely loved Perol in El Paso—authentic Mexican flavors, modern-casual vibe, and dishes made the old‑fashioned way that just hit the mark. David was our server, and he knocked it out of the park: attentive, friendly, and on point with every suggestion. He elevated the evening. Can’t wait to go back!
This place never ceases to amaze me. Our waiter,Nico, was beyond expectation. The service, the food the atmosphere, management and staff were amazing. Definitely five stars.
The restaurant started off strong their first few months. With time, unfortunately the quality of the food has gone down. The pozole on three different ocassions was “cold” and clumpy. Did not taste fresh. The corn tamales which were my favorite started tasting like unproperly refrigirated food items. I once had to return it to the kitchen for being undercooked.

Perol Restaurant offers delicious and authentic Mexican food with a twist. The chicharrones with salsa are a winner, and the tripitas are crunchy and flavorful. The pork belly appetizer is a must-try, and the aguachiles are a great hangover starter. The salsas served on the side with the tacos, including a red salsa and an orange salsa, are packed with unique flavor and the perfect spice. The restaurant's inside decor is nice, creating a festive atmosphere, and the service is attentive, though recent visits suggest room for improvement in some cases. The fresh tortillas add to the enjoyable experience, and the homemade green juice is very tasty and fresh. The menu offers many amazing options, and the overall food quality makes it a highly recommended spot in El Paso. Customers also praised the pork belly guacamole appetizer, the tender carnitas, and the kids' chicken tenders, all of which contributed to positive dining experiences. While some noted that their soda was flat, the delicious food and friendly service make Perol Restaurant a popular choice for Mexican cuisine lovers.
