I went for the lunch special and was please by the large number of selections. Food arrive fairly quickly, wonderfully freaky and flavorful. For 4.95 ! Large enough portion I took some home.

At least 20 years ago, or longer, I had last eaten here with my family when both children were quite young (elementary school age), but the fleeting memory of quality then was reinforced now. Searching for good Chinese food in El Paso is not unlike searching for water in the desert: you're probably not going to find any! I've heard it said that Red Lantern, on Zaragoza Road in East El Paso, offers what is probably the best Chinese food in El Paso. I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and was surprised to find the first of the three dining rooms virtually full.
