Food was as expected for a BBQ place, I had their double meat sandwich with Pulled Pork and Brisket. I also had their beans and coleslaw which both could use some work for flavor. The meat was a little on the dry side but it also had great flavor! I recommend having a sweeter BBQ sauce along with the 2 spicy options. Definitely will be going back for another meal, you earned a starred places on my Google maps as well.

Food was very lack luster and bland. The meat without sauce had virtually no flavor and was dry. Sides taste like they were premade and bought in bulk. Had high hopes based on reviews initially, but we've tried the Rudy's in Arizona and now Texas and let me just say we won't be back sadly.

Average and below in quality of food and service. The brisket is dry and lacking in flavor. The baby back ribs were also average. The beans lacked the flavor and brisket bits from before. I asked about the freshness of the rice crispy treats and staff could not provide an answer. No date on the external package. The boxes (where the crispy treats are located) were empty by the registers and informing the staff changed nothing. Disappointing. I would eat here frequently before and it’s no longer worth the effort. The locations in San Antonio are routinely consistent in delicious menu items and service. Why not here? It was before.

This was the first place we ate on our Texas trip, and the entire experience was amazing! We watched the staff slice the brisket and prepare our sandwiches — mouthwatering! Everything was delicious — brisket and pork sandwiches, ribs, cream corn, coleslaw, and sweet tea! Rudy’s is a must!

Visited Rudy’s Bar-B-Q, and while the food was okay, there were a few misses. I was hoping for beef ribs, but they didn’t have any, and the "upgraded" brisket was a bit dry. The place was pretty empty, though it did satisfy my BBQ craving for the day. If you're looking for a realtor in the area, you can find me on Instagram @novosrealty.
