Terrible lunch dining experience! Im guessing the GM was sitting in the front room on the right on his computer. It's about 12:30 and restaurant wasn't terribly busy. However, our waitress was in the weeds and needed help. The menu makes no sense. The 2 meat combo and meat options are sausage, turkey, & chicken. Lean brisket & moist brisket upcharge. No problem with the upcharge! Why not just make it 18.99 instead of 16.99 & include the briskets as options. That $2 increase is more than the upcharges! Next our food is served and sloppy is being nice. My beans were overflowed over the bowl & dried bean juice on the sides of the bowl with a spoon already placed in it. Quick side bar is my wife & I both worked in restaurants where we served beans. When bean broth dries to the side of the cup. GThat's a translation those beans have been sitting! Plus, a spoon placed in them. Those beans could have been pulled rom the dish pit area! I didn't touch the beans. I've had better bbq at Rudy's. The restaurant is dark and so was the ambiance in the restaurant. I gave our waitress/ Ayla 5 stars because she was working hard! She didn't serve our food because I'm sure she wouldn't have served those beans! GM get off of your backside and visit the few guest you have in the restaurant 😉

Had a huge baked potato with brisket. Was delicious. Nachos were fire, literally. If you like spice you'll love them. We were a party of 13 and they accommodated us quickly. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I snapped a pic of my Cosmopolitan. The bartender suggested it after it was explained I like sweet drinks.

We didn’t wait for a table long at all. The beef ribs are amazing. I recommend getting the full rack, since the price for a half rank doesn’t differ much. Service is excellent. Try getting a mouse head beer there. Not many places have that beer. In fact I don’t know anyone else who carries it.

What a breath of fresh air. I don't often give 5 star reviews but this one was well earned. I was visiting family in town and up until this point some of our choices for food weren't the best of what we expected so far. From the moment we walked in the door it was fantastic. From the host to the server to the manager even the decor, we were impressed by all. The menu was pretty vast but still reasonably priced. We all ended up getting a combination of meats and sides. When it arrived at the table we were amazed at the sheer amount of food in front of us. During dinner we had great conversations with the manager and our server was a sweetheart. As for the food..... It was amazing. Everything we ate was exceptional. Ribs, sausage, brisket, chicken, etc.... potato salad, fresh bread and great bar drinks. For a simple trip to diner, they made it a memorable part of our trip. Definitely will be back when we're in town.

Had the King Rib Plater togo. Pork ribs very tasty and tender, beef ribs suck I've been eating here since 1977 the beef ribs used to be smoked right and have a smoke ring, they were tender also have some meat on the bone. Not anymore they are more expensive and very tough my Plater was $41.10 that was 21.00 to much. Work on your smoking Ribs beef takes longer than Pork

We expected steak to be the menu. The Chicken was dry. The rest was ok.

Sides are literally just to fill you up, and the flavor of the meat is lacking, and the portion is not worth the price. I would rather go to Texas road house fs.

I myself would stop in every time I drove truck across country from Phoenix to Miami and it was the best BBQ I ever found. This weekend my neighbor went from Phoenix to some hot springs in the area, I told him to stop in and have the best BBQ ever. He stopped, he ate he loved it and bought me a State Line/ County line shirt that I just put on here in Phoenix 👍👍

I ordered the 5 meat combo with 2nd marbled brisket. All 5 meats were great! Cooked perfectly. The BBQ sauce was a bit runny but paired nicely with the meat and side of beans. Potato salad was good with a generous amount of onion and base. The coleslaw wasnt the way I liked it but others in my party did.

I had a fantastic experience at The State Line! The meats were absolutely delicious, tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.

The margaritas were excellent as well, refreshing and well-balanced.

We were seated right away with no waiting time, which was a pleasant surprise. Portions were generous, and the prices felt very reasonable for the quality and amount of food.

Overall, a great place for BBQ and drinks—I’ll definitely be coming back
