I’ll preface this by saying this is one of the best sushi places in El Paso in terms of taste and price, by El Paso standards this beats 99% of the places we’ve been to here. So if you want something not as good as authentic Japanese sushi this comes close, the cons: it is a family restaurant as such the waitress seems to be the Mamasan, the elderly lady who is most likely the grandmother in age, she is very kind but should not be carrying around heavy plates at her age in my opinion, to me she is a liability to the restaurant, not only in time and money but in terms of safety to herself and the public. This is exactly what I see in the reviews for this restaurant, they aren’t able to attend to too many people and the wait times are longer than usual, not to mention our concern for the mamasan to be able to bring our order.Anyways my conclusion is the sushi is top notch in comparison to everything else here in El Paso, the price was very reasonable but be ready for long wait times until the restaurant ever decides to hire someone to help.

Some of the best sushi value in El Paso. Love their Saigon roll and spicy tuna maki. They also have a great Spicy Dragon Roll. They also offer some copious Teriyaki. The owner is a very sweet lady who pays attention to details. The restaurant has recently changed their menu and the new manager can be short fused and arrogant. The decor is nothing fancy, more of a simple Japanese restaurant with a zen feeling surrounded around simplicity and good value sushi. I do like their very clean environment! The restaurant is located in a strip mall next to Albertsons and Zinos.

This place used to be SO good. It has really gone downhill, the lady that runs it now is very rude. They will not allow you to customize the lunch menu even though I’ve been ordering the same thing at both locations for years and paying an up charge. It’s always empty now and they have crossed out many items on them menu, many were our favorites. Sadly we won’t be coming again. Stay away the good times of sushi zen are GONE.

This is the BEST sushi I’ve ever had in el paso. I always recommend it to everyone I meet, it’s affordable and it’s delicious. The employees are always so kind and generous. Just be wary they don’t have any restrooms available for use.

First time eating here (lunch time). Tasty items with different rolls than other locations in El Paso and decent sized portions. Was really enjoying the food, but 2 hrs later, I was feeling it. Not saying it was a bad experience because I lost weight that evening. I may have to visit again to confirm.

My favorite place to have sushi in EP and I have tried most places. The bunny role is a must and they’re very consistent, it’s always great.

I’m coming back for more sushi.I tried Sushi Zen and their sushi is incredible and so much better than other sushi I had in the past. By the way, order the lunch special because you will get lots of sushi for a great price.
