I have tried the tamales in many locations through out El Paso. This is as close as it gets to my grandmother's recipe. It is a hole in the wall type of place, you have stand in line to order and is a cash only business. I have not tried any other items on the menu. I am just rating the tamales.
Currently (Dec 2024) $22/dozen tamales - definitely worth it. Freshly made every day.
Vegetarian options: Pretty sure all the tamales use animal fat in the masa
