Yesterday, I called to make a reservation and we confirmed time and stated it was for my parents 46th anniversary with Edward. When we arrived we were seated and were met by our server Edward. He greeted us and made our dinner special by wishing my parents a Happy Anniversary. He treated my parents with such respect. He was friendly, kind and made our dinner special. We would like Edward recognized for his excellent customer service and attention to detail in making my parents anniversary very special. Thank you for dinner Edward!!!

Excellent food and Excellent staff
The Edge of Texas is a fun stop after getting off the plane. The owner, Oscar, and our server, Edward, were fantastic and friendly. The food was delicious and fairly fast.
The atmosphere is the only negative I have about this restaurant. The inside is painted dark green with dark wood details. It looks nice and is well maintained but is very dark juxtaposed with the small windows. Some lighter colors would really brighten up the space.

Had such a bad experience, it was a party of 14, all of us return our food,, our steaks were of green,, the cook would just send it right back without fix it , my husband got the T-bone he asked for it medium well it came out almost rare, and cold, we returned it it was returned like warm horrible food the burger was over cooked almost burn. The chicken plate was also returned cuz it was was also cold, overall it was a bad experience even though we had been there 5 yrs ago it was delicious then, plz stay away from this place all together 🤬🤬🤬

Been here several times before but never been treated this poorly our waitress was super rude asking if we wanted to go boxes even before our food had been served. Came here to treat one of our friends and show her how good this place was but all we got was rude service and poor customer service. For the money spent and driving out of our way we will be definitely not coming back and taking our business elsewhere. Not sure what was happening tonight but definitely left a sour taste for us.

Please don't waist your time and money going to this place. Food is terrible. High prices for low quality food
Save your gas , money, and time.
Go somewhere else if you like to eat and enjoy and having a good quality of meal.

Today I decided to stop at this place since it had such a good reputation. Upon entry the place looks old and poorly decorated. Right away me and wife proceeded to order because we were coming from a long roadtrip. I ordered a ribeye with loaded mashed potatoes with a ceaser salad and my wife ordered a chicken alfredo pasta. The waitress brought some bread wich it was colder than my grandmas grave. I also ordered a sangria which not even on my drunkest days I would off drank. Then the main dishes came. After the first bite I notice that the can of salt was dropped on the steak, it was super salty impossible to eat. The ceaser salad was like they had it out for days and taken out of a great value salad bag from the dollar store, not fresh, yelloish and soggy. The food and experience was terrible and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Also the manage didn’t wanted to come talk to us because apparently she was having a bad day.

Took the drive to check out this restaurant. Most of the positive things I've heard were for the dinner service but being short on time we did lunch. Family atmosphere, friendly staff, and service were great. Place has a bar to sit while waiting on your table. Nothing like bigger places, bar has only one, maybe two tvs. Waited about 20 mins for our table and noticed there were no booths, witch makes place look nicer. I did notice a large family group sitting together so they will accommodate your group. Food was good but not great. Good lunch if you happen to be going thru since place is right on the Texas / New Mexico state line on the north side of El Paso TX heading or coming from Alamogordo NM..
Place is really clean good quality food and nice atmosphere 💯

As we walked in it felt like a classic saloon which I think is great for being in West Texas. It wasn't to busy so we got sat within 5 minutes. We came here to celebrate 2 Birthdays. It was 7 of us 5 adults and 2 kids. And we greatly enjoyed our food and drinks. The food had its own unique flavor to classic items. My steak was cooked medium raw and it was cooked to perfection. Great taste easy to cut rib-eye. This is a little bit of a late post as we went a few months ago I forgot what everybody had but I know it's adults enjoyed are mixed drinks our server was wonderful and they brought us out 2 birthday cakes with sparklers we had a very good time highly recommended.

Server did not asked how we wanted our burgers to be cooked. Both our burgers ended up being overcooked. My wagu burger was 50% burnt so I did not finished my burger. Server did not check out on our table because she was too busy with another party that came after us and is much larger. Overall service was bad. There were multiple servers just walking around the restaurant but there were only a few of them serving customers. The beard served for appetizer was very dry and dense. Not worth eating unless you were hungry.

I ordered a medium rare steak and although the outside was seared, seasoned and cooked nicely the inside was practically rare. It was a 10oz steak but I would say 5oz of it was all fat. The lobster tail was slightly overcooked and was not seasoned--i was given butter to put on it. The buffalo burger with fries was mediocre--couldve gotten a better burger at Wendy's or Chick-fil-A. The chicken Alfredo tasted like a frozen meal warmed up. Idk how you can not perfect spaghetti (especiallyfor the price we paid) buuuut it was also very mediocre. They should be embarrassed of the presentation of each dish. We were given plastic ramekin cups for additional sauces. What made it even worse was that it was too pricey for such mediocre tasting food. We paid a little over $90 for the 10oz steak and lobster tail. I thought that was ridiculous. ~$25 for the chicken Alfredo and ~23 for the buffalo burger and cold fries. We also had about 1cup of BASIC guacamole for ~$18. One of our glass cups had lipstick stains on it. I didnt feel as bad that my 4yo knocked over and broke her glass cup. The only thing we enjoyed here was the service from our lovely server (forgot to get her name). Oh and gratuity was included in the bill...which wasn't too bad $40. Aside from our server, we would have been better off eating at Chick-fil-A. We waited nearly an hour before getting out main courses. Our bill totaled at $257 with the gratuity already added in. I would NOT recommend ANYONE here for a fancy dinner. It's like they tried to be something that they are not by Hiking up the prices.
