Food is amazing but walking in on owner or manager grueling employee about not being able to work because of her daughter not having a babysitter.. manager was not handling situation well and seemed very disrespectful I get about needing people to work but there is a professional way to approach certain situations. As I am currently hearing this manager continues interrupting employee about what she is trying to explain.. threatening termination just because she needs to take care of her daughter is actually crazy.. also as I’m here listening to this she (manager or owner) noticed me listening in and lowered her voice and switched languages to continue grueling this employee.. manager or owner do better… learn how to talk with respect to your employees. Her attitude ruined my day… Thank you.

placed an order on phone. was told pay when you pick up. go in and my hams were sold.
The place has no sense to put reserved sign on ham or tell the clerk it is reserved.
Damon seems to know nothing. Who is manager when will manager return? " I don't know"
who worked yesterday and took my order?
" I don't know"
I was not offered a discount on unglazed ham, which is not what I wanted. if I wasn't bringing this to an event tomorrow I would never have bought it.

Been coming here for 20 years, it took 30 minutes to get our food. They didn't have our bread, so we substituted with what they had which was stale. The ham salad was laden with mayo...inedible. Chicken salad wasn't better. Food just has gone downhill. Tried to talk to the manager, Manny Gutierrez, and he was so rude. Told us they didn't need customers like us, but after the food we had today, that won't be a problem.

Worst food I've eaten in sometime. it was such a bad experience that I highly recommend not eating there. The service was so slow and we were only ones in there. Once our food arrived: bread was stale, ham salad was fatty, overly salty and running with mayo. It was just yuck. My dad's food was supposed to be a chicken salad melt, but instead they just slapped the cheese on it and his bread was also stale. When we tried to tell the manager about it, he just didn't care and was RUDE! Won't ever go back there, which is sad cuz it used to be a great place.

He grabbed the plate my dad was handing him after he said it was the worst food he's eaten there. He was offended from the start, rude and didn't want to hear our legitimate feedback. He told us, not once but twice, they didn't need customers like us, and after the food we had today, that won't be a problem. I recommend the Mexican food restaurant next door to them instead of this place if you want edible food.

Update: the owner responded. She claims that she was checking in to see if I was doing alright, not true. She stared at me until I asked if there was an issue and she then asked me if I was eating. I told her yes and then she said she was the owner. She also claims I was there for “hours”. Not evenWhat a shame. I use to come here Monday through Friday and I always get a snack until the owner was really rude and asked me what I was doing sitting down on my laptop.

The food was delicious!The warm sweet ham and cheese sandwich that I ordered was outstanding! The Maui chips were out of this world too!My daughter and I enjoyed it very much. She had a croissant ham sandwich with bbq chips and sweet tea.The staff was very nice they seemed happy to be working there.The atmosphere was inviting and warm.We most definitely will be back and recommended.
