Had a great time. Bartenders were fun and helpful and fast. As busy as it was, (standing room only and barely walking room) it still only took a few minutes at most to get my drinks. Usually less then a minute from walking up to placing order. A great time was had by all!
The Hidrant is a very cool dive bar in East El Paso. It's not big, it's small and cozy. The bartenders are quite competent and knowledgeable plus, they take an interest in the customers. They will chat with you and ask about you. They don't look at you as a dollar sign or wallet. They see you as a person and treat you as such. The customers that go there, go to drink, relax and have a good time; they are also friendly customers. It's rare that a rowdy customer tries to start trouble....read full review

Great spot, affordable prices so the 16oz. Landsharks and Shock Tops are 2 bucks all day and nite, great specials for happy hour on liquor, live music on Fridays and Saturdays. Danny and the rest of the bartenders are fast and hard working.
