I used to work here back in 88-89. Quality has gone down , water on bottom of pasta. The best thing was the bread. We was seated at corner and felt like we were forgotten the whole night,,we had to use knife to cut the meatballs..
Love the restaurants theme and the service was great, the only disappointment was the food. I don’t want to base my rating on one dish that’s why I’m giving it a 4 star rating but as a former cook that has made many lasagnas in my time, I can tell all the ingredients where prep for efficiency. The neighborhood isn’t too great but don’t let that deter you. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere, the service is excellent, and the Italian dishes are very good.
