Yamaguchi Ramen Bar offers a lively atmosphere with anime-inspired decor. The service is excellent, and the appetizers like Furikake fries are delicious. However, the ramen dishes have received mixed reviews. While the eggs and meat are praised, the broth and noodles in the Spicy Lobster Tail Tonkotsu ramen and other ramen bowls have been described as lacking in flavor and texture. The restaurant is known to get crowded, especially on weekends, and the Zaragoza location is said to have better food than the Eastlake one. The staff is amazingly friendly and very fast, and the atmosphere is really cool anime but not overdone, making it a nice place for a date. The Kitchen Manager has a great touch for food, and the server has a great attitude. The bowls are the perfect size, and the customer service is great. The place is very clean, and customers have enjoyed the mural inside. Takeout orders have also been praised for coming out perfect.
