Just moved here to Elgin about 2 years now, tried many of the Mexican food establishments, with no regrets! A friend of mine told me about this place, Dos Amigos, and I told him I seen it but just drive by. Well yesterday I went out to run errands and was again driving by, then decided to try it. This weekend only place is fast and delicious! The chicken fajita had wood smoke flavor, the pork are stashed were cooked to perfection, and even the sausage wrap was better than expected. The slave was also on point.
Went on a Sunday and the Pork Carnitas were bomb! They were unfortunately hidden behind the wal mart bought tortillas and the square slice of velveeta cheese.I would go back for the meat only
