El Meguey is a great bar to unwind after a long workday! I always stop by for a cold beer and to catch some sports before heading back to Colinas RV Park. Staying here with my Keystone Camper—peaceful, gated, and a great place to call home.
The burrito smothered in queso was delicious. The building is old and historical, which is awesome and worth a look, but the decorations are a mix of random things and there was no music so it lacked ambiance which is the only reason I rated the atmosphere as less.
Had the daily special. It was quite yummy - chalupa, taco, and queso. It also included a tea. Had a late lunch so there were only a few folks there, service was excellent. Will be back!
