We've driven past this place on I-45 for over 25 years, and never checked it out until today. So glad we did! Friendly counter experience. Scrumptious sliced brisket and pay-attention SPICY sausage. Old-fashioned menu with reliable sides. Too many choices - we'll have to come back and try the ribs.
Excellently cooked marbled brisket. Jalapeno sausage was also very good. There was no need for sauce for anything. Service is prompt even when they are busy.
Stopped in finally after years of passing by it, for work. Not this time...I finally stopped and mannnnn, was it worth it. I had a chopped brisket potato, which was like a tender spud volcano, erupting with brisket lava. I only ate half and I was full. The meat was tender as well, with the right amount of smoke, not to over power the meat but, accent it instead. Let the meat speak!!!
