Hala Cafe in Euless is hands down the best Mediterranean restaurant I’ve ever been to. From the hummus to the hibiscus tea to the mixed grill, everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The owner, Ayman, was incredibly hospitable and welcoming. He genuinely wanted us to experience a variety of dishes and made sure we felt right at home. It’s rare to find both amazing food and such warm service in one place. We’ll definitely be coming back again and again.
The food here was delicious - the first time I visited I had the lamb liver, and the second time I had the gyro platter. I went with my brother and he is somewhat of a picky eater and thought the food was great. I think he had the chicken shawarma both times. Their hot sauce was really good as well. Both times my brother and I shared the hummus platter as an appetizer and I wish I had gotten a picture because it was beautiful and tasted so fresh. The Turkish coffee was excellent...
I love the lentil soup and shawarma sandwiches here!

Hala Cafe, originally founded by a Sudanese family, was a vibrant hub of tradition. It beautifully incorporated cultural elements from Sudan, Egypt, Syria, and Lebanon, notably featuring pyramid-inspired designs.

I believe the new owner, having retained the cafe's name and similar design elements, should have also honored the original concept by continuing to prominently feature Sudanese...
