“First time eating at a Somali restaurant, wasn’t sure what to expect. This is what I can tell you, very tasty rice and very good lamb shank at a reasonable price. Nothing special about the atmosphere, it’s plain chairs and benches with some African ornaments on the wall. The place was very hot, I wonder if the AC was broken. It’s still tolerable to finish my lunch. The service is more like a fast food restaurant, very minimum, but the staff were friendly.“

“This place is great! I had the chicken tikka masala, it was spiced well and creamy! My boyfriend had the Friday special which was only $6.99, a good price! I also got a mango lassi which was pretty good. The only complaint I have is how the tables are situated.“

As I walk in the restaurant the gentleman welcome me in and explain to me about the level of hot ?. lol I got the light hot chicken tender with fries. I also received honey, souse for my tenders, ketchup and napkins. Also also pickles. I am ver pleased with this place. The cleanliness of this place is so welcoming too. Wow. We got the Dino Ribs and the Birria Tacos which were both amazing! I honest have never tasted anything like this! I honestly think I will be coming back to Dallas specifically for the Dino ribs!

“You've got to try this restaurant. The momo is brilliant. The service is exemplary, and she takes special care of you. This is my 2nd time visiting. I had never had momo before our first time, but WOW! dumplings are beautiful, rich and flavorful. But when you add the sauce.... it takes the dish to another level! Just the right spicy, so much flavor! I save my extra sauce to use at home on almost everything, lol. I highly recommend.“
