This was my first time visiting Raven's. I have to say I was totally impressed. I ordered the Shiner Bock pork chops with mashed potatoes and wild rice pilaf. The pork was grilled nicely it was not all dried out, and it was very tasty. The mashed potatoes with gravy were very good, as was the pilaf. Overall it was a great experience. I will be back again soon. I have heard that I need to try the Chicken Fried Steak.
If you live anywhere between Dallas and Fort Worth, this is a really great option for a casual but attentive meal. I went for my fourth time recently, this time for breakfast. This is inside the Texas Star Golf Course, but no membership is required to dine in the restaurant. Nice surroundings, super friendly staff, and extremely reasonable prices. Definitely a hidden gem in the area.

Some plates are EPIC! Try the nachos but this is more than an appetizer. Catfish was on point, the onion rings were knife and fork huge. Maybe they ran out of the "3 large hand breaded chicken tenders" because we got 4 frozen in the bag tenders. But over all it is WELL worth the money and the service is great. Love this place and we will be back again!Parking: Go on an off time. Noon on a Wednesday with great weather had us walking. Understandably due to fair weather golfers.
