When I tell you we got our food before we barely took a few sips of our starter drinks... Wow! The Roost was comfortable and welcoming. All staff made an effort to ensure we had everything we needed. It was clearly a team effort, and they all seemed to genuinely enjoy each other's company with friendly banter. Our waitress was so personable and we laughed several times together. I have not been to the Roost for awhile and since then they have done some remodeling and updated their menu. I had Migas served with Black Beans, really really good. Not a fan of the coffee which seemed a bit if Chickory not a big fan of that, but drank it nonetheless. All in all experience was really good and I will be back. Service was good, didn't take long to get food

The food looks great presentation wise; however it's very bland.
I would highly suggest the owner/chef consider adding just a little salt to the gravy, and breading used for chicken fried steak.
Everything was so close to being good, but just fell short.
We had the bulldog, and a cfs lunch.
