“Super cool place we stumbled upon while looking at the antique shops nearby. We ordered orange juice and grapefruit that were fresh squeezed to our surprise. Good aperol spritz too. The decor and vibe are so fun and I liked the music that was on. Great vibe!“

“Great chips & hot sauce. Chicken enchiladas with beans and rice were great for the $9.00 special. Bought a dozen tamales to go for $10 (good) and a bag of chips & sauce. Will definitely go back next time I'm in this neck of the woods.“

“We went here for a Birthday celebration (on a BUSY, rainy Saturday afternoon) a party of 7 (SMALL for our family of extended folks). The server, a very friendly, personable young lady, was very reliable in taking orders and delivery. I am a Military Veteran, and request the Military discount EVERY place I shop, eat, or buy. She replied, 'of course'. This being a BD celebration, I took the check, when it came; This restaurant uses 'check out @ the table' technology; so I was at a loss as to how to do it. The server walked me through it; (I do not put 'tips' on my Credit Card, so I left that option off the transaction).
{As noted, we were in Gun Barrel City, and we live in Irving, TX }(about 60- 70 miles away).
By the time we got home, about 2 hours later, I checked my receipt from the restaurant, and noted the Military Discount WAS NOT APPLIED!
The restaurant's phone number was on the receipt, so I called; I told the person who answered about NOT getting my discount; they transferred me to the Manager, a young man named Scott; he put me on hold for about 2 minutes, came back on, and said, yes,, the server was almost off duty and got confused; she readily admitted her mistake; He said, I can do one of two things, give you a refund to your Credit card, or mail you a gift card redeemable @ any Chili's. I opted for the gift card!
GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I WILL RETURN THERE AGAIN, AS MY DAUGHTER LIVES CLOSE BY! THUMBS UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!“

“My family of 5 and I were in town near Athens, TX for a family reunion. I found this restaurant today for us to try for breakfast based on the great reviews. We were ignored at the door while waiting for someone to assist us with a table. Once seated, staff started serving other guests after us with menus and coffee. When we asked for menus we were given a dirty look. After receiving such a negative experience, we decided it was time to leave and find another place more welcoming of all patrons.“
