I used to love the food, and I love all their veggie options. I came back after 12 years. The service was great, same great menu, but food was not how I remember.. It was bland.Vegetarian options: So many vegetarian options.
This was our first time to eat at Nuevo León Mex-Mex, but not the last! This is not your typical Tex Mex restaurant, which shouldn’t be a surprise since the Mex Mex is in the name. From the margaritas to the queso and every entree we had, the flavors were fresh and authentic. They have a long list of margaritas and a surprisingly large vegetarian menu. Everything was delicious! Local, old school farmers branch spot. Food is amazing! The jalapeno relleno is dish delish! Think jalapeño poppers but more homemade. It wasnt busy on a Monday. So non busy places make me nervous but that just meant the service was better for this place. Almost like a hidden gem.
