Decided to try this Mexican buffet because I'd heard good things about it and it did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was very cozy, it's not a huge place but it's well set up. The food was delicious and fresh, I will definitely recommend this place to everyone I know and the price was decent. Overall a great experience so come down to "el refran" if you love authentic Mexican food.
Easily the best Mexican buffet I've ever been to. If you're in the area you should give it a try many mexican dishes made correctly laid out in a wonderful buffet with amazing service. You could not find a better Mexican buffet. And I say that truthfully. Thank you to the staff and cooks of El Refran. I will be back with friends and family ready to eat!

If you are not paying attention, it's easy to miss this little gem. Still, we saw a steady stream of customers while we were there. The horchata was spot-on, and I enjoyed the caldo de pollo. My brother even wanted seconds of the tamales. Service was welcoming and attentive, and we appreciated the variety of options for any appetite.
