We had a team dinner here. They were able to accommodate our 25 members. My steak was a little overcooked for me. The taste of the steak was good. I enjoyed the Texas Rice. My carrot cake was huge. It was served cold. It was a good place to eat.
Fresh hot rolls with honey butter are delicious. Steak and shrimp tasted great, full rack ribs tender, falling off the bone good. All in all service, food, price it was well worth the trip.
Robert's Steakhouse is a great place to stop off for a hearty meal halfway between Houston and San Antonio. As a solo traveler I felt comfortable going in on my own, definitely beating a fast food stop. I had a hearty sirloin steak salad, the grilled green beans were so delicious. I could have eaten more. The warm bread they provided is full of flavor. Staff was friendly even for a busy Saturday night. I had no problem finding parking or getting seated. I go again on another...
