I had never had a New York bagel before but was intrigued after reading the great reviews of this place, though in my head I thought, “I mean, can there really be THAT big of a difference between bagels and cream cheese?” This morning, I had the most amazing bagel with the best cream cheese that I’ve ever had. I certainly not a connoisseur, but I know why people would choose to come here over anywhere else. There is a notable difference with a fresh baked homemade bagel and their homemade cream cheese. I can hardly describe the perfect thin crust on the outside of the sesame seed bagel with a warm doughy inside, or how the consistency of the cream cheese was a gooey firmness that tasted so different from the whipped or too-firm store-bought kind. I suppose that when you do this for 30 years, you’ll learn how to do it right!! If you’ve never been to the inconspicuous store on 3040 that simply says “Bagels” on the outside, you need to experience it for yourself!

Wife asked for her bagel toasted, was refused, said were already toasted. It wasn't. And it was cold. Bagels were tasteless. Wife wanted a coke, they have only Dr. Pepper. No seating. A disappointment.

You can tell that every bagel is made with love and deep knowledge for the craft. I always get an untoasted everything bagel with sliced lox and everything on it. These bagels could change the way Texans view bagels. Not even a comparison to other local bagel places.

good quality bagels and not over priced. sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich for $5.50 which was well worth it and i would have paid double for same product at einesteins bagels. doesn’t take much but will definitely be coming back!

The best bagels around. I love the owner’s personal approach. I’ll support any business that is as good as this one, but the American flag she has hanging in her window is an added bonus. These bagels are just like the ones you get in New York City. I like to get the French toast bagel sandwich with sausage, egg and cheese.
