“We visited Verf's on 9/19/25 and Jose F was our waiter. The food was wonderful, and our waiter Jose did an excellent job checking on us but not becoming annoying by constantly asking if we needed anything. We sat near the bar which was a tad noisy, but the booth we were seated in was uncomfortable and better suited for larger people b/c the table is too far away from the seats. And our table had an uneven wood surface as we cut into our food. Lastly, the $2.50 discount for Police/Fire/Vets should be a little more ... say 15%. Otherwise, it was an outstanding dining experience.“

“We ate here today and had a wonderful experience. They were accommodating with the table so we could see the Packers game, patient with our spirited young child, and the food was fantastic. Our waiter was attentive but not overbearing. We’ll for sure be back often!“

“The food was pretty good and so was the service. The only bummer is they “lost” my husband’s order and so he had to sit there and wait for them to make his order again while we all got our food. Hot and at the same time. 👎🏻“

“First time in DFW, and after seeing the chaos that Christmas brings to the main street, we headed to The Library. Our server was attentive, informative and generous with his time, but by far the stand out was the Five Pepper Chicken. Outstanding!! I need the recipe Chef Fermin!

“I am so glad I was finally able to try this incredible restaurant. I had heard about it on Facebook and saw the great Google reviews, but the timing just did not work out for me on other occasions. Last night, we had crawfish etouffee, the red snapper, gumbo, and the real deal bread pudding! Actually the bread sitting is better than Whitney make it home and that is a bit of an embarrassment. The etouffee had just the right spice. My brother went back for seconds on gumbo, and two in our party really enjoyed the snapper. Prices are very reasonable, especially for this area. It does have a bit of an odd location. It is inside of a Holiday Inn hotel. Very lucky travelers! Just go and you won't regret it. We plan to return Thursday night when they have live entertainment.“

“If you find yourself at Drunken Donkey in Lewisville and Jess or Madi isn’t behind the bar, just turn around and come back another day. These two are absolute rockstars.
Jess somehow manages to keep the whole place running while making it look effortless. She's quick with a drink and even quicker with the comebacks. Madi’s the kind of bartender who makes you feel like you've been friends for years—even if you just awkwardly ordered a beer like it was your first time in public.
Service? On point. Vibes? Immaculate. Drinks? Flowing like a river!.
Shoutout to both of them for making the bar feel like the best part of my week. Y’all are legends—cheers to that.“

“Friendly staff, dog friendly for your furry pets on the patio. I'm not a burger person, but the burgers are delicious. Plenty, of different cold brewskis on tap.“
“It was the perfect cold evening to enjoy the ambiance of the bubble tent! The cheese fondue was excellent and there was a nice selection of veggies, breads, etc. For the price, I think it should include 2 bottles of wine instead of 1. Our group of 5 really liked the whole experience!“
