We had carryout. It's not my personal taste for Orange chicken it didn't have a lot of flavor, and the batter reminded me of funnel cake. Others may like it, but it wasn't my favorite. It was cooked and not too chewy and the service was very fast and friendly. I personally wouldn't go back, but again, that's just because I didn't prefer the taste. A lot of people like it, so give it a try. The restaurant is super clean, and again, the staff seemed very attentive, and the service was speedy. It is purely a personal preference for the 1 star.

We have been going to this restaurant for years. It is the only place we go when we want this type of food. The restaurant is small and there is a nonstop in and out of people ordering take out and food delivery pickups. It can be a bit noisy and distracting because of that, thus my three stars. Portions are large and we frequently split a plate of food unless we are there for lunch. Our favorites are the hot and sour soup, chicken fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken and orange chicken. The staff are very friendly, and the service is great. There can be a wait due to the size of the restaurant.

What a wonderful selection I chose scallops asparagus in a ginger sauce that was superb I wanted to lick the plate to get every last bit of the sauce my friend got the lo mein that had everything in it shrimp pork chicken she too cleaned her plate. The server was so nice and polite even when the man behind us made a stink he held his tongue and was very respectful I wanted to say something to the man who was so rude. I found everything perfect even the iced tea was brewed to perfection. This will be my favorite spot for sure. I went back the the next day. They were so wonderful they actually made something that wasn't on the menu for me. Again it was out standing!! Also purchased woton ton soup that was recommended by a friend who raved about it. She was right. Best we've ever had. Shrimp general tso should be on the menu it was sumptuous.

This weekend I went to China Island Grill for lunch with my daughter. We decided t o share a meal of Sweet and Sour chicken and once again it was wonderful. We added the large size hot and sour soup to eat the next day and 2 spring rolls. This place is consistently good and my favorite go to place for Chinese food. The staff is friendly and very helpful and fast. The restaurant is located in Flower Mound off of Long Prairie Rd.. it is small inside but always clean The food portions are large and even though we shared one entree, it was more than enough for both of us. We generally order separate entrees so we can have left overs the next day. I don’t know why but other Chinese restaurants’ food does not taste good reheated but China Island Grill is the exception to the rule. I like to put the breaded chicken in the air fryer to heat up and everything else on the stove top. The next time you have a craving for Chinese , give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Wheelchair accessibility: The space inside is small and it may be hard to find a table but the staff is so accommodating, I feel certain they will find a good space for the wheelchair customer.

This is the “whitest” Asian food I’ve had in a long time. Don’t go here if you want flavor, spice, or any real semblance of what it means to have Asian food.

Best Chinese food ever! Very consistent- I have been here many times to dine- in and take out. This place is always busy!
