I'm not quite sure what's going on. However, dining experience has declined. Have been to this restaurant about six times, we do not live in Flower Mound. We usually go to meet friends for dinner. Food and service were always pretty good. This last time, not so much.

The place had only one other table of two when we were there. The short of it:

Took a while to get my drink. By the time the meal finally arrived, the beer was warm and pretty.much gone.

The Brisket sandwich came with just meat on the bun and a few onion rings. No onion, pickle, or even ketchup for the rings. Just brisket dropped on a burger bun.

The Brisket was exceptionally salty. In fact, it's too salty. We had people at our table having to wait for their food. Presentation, accompanyment of sides was very sub-par. Also ordered a bowl of beans. Zero flavoring tasted just like a bowl of boiled beans in water.

The flow of the dinner service was way off, as was the preparation of the dinner plate served.
Like I said, it's not a first-time diner, but I will monitor to check reviews and if improvement comes.

Not sure what's going on, but it's definitely slipping.

First time trying this local BBQ joint and it was absolutely amazing! Their BBQ sauce has a little spice to it that was soooooo good and everything is fresh made to order. I had the brisket Mac and cheese and it was the perfect combination of creamy cheesy pasta with a perfectly smoked, shredded beef on top. This is one of those that is worth trying because I promise you won’t be disappointed. They also have a full bar and make a great margarita too!

Tried this place out for the first time. I got takeout for the family and wasn't impressed. The meat was placed in fragile styrofoam containers. It wasn't wrapped or anything and broke before I got home. Fried okra was put in a sealed plastic container and was soggy as can be. Really the meat should have been in the plastic and the okra in the styrofoam container. 🙄 I won't be returning, it's easy to find much better barbecue at much lower prices.

Nice place for lunch, great meats!

Food was amazing and the service was great. Came here on vacation with family and found this great place. All good is made from scratch and the meat is tender and really flavorful. Had a great talk with the owner. He is super friendly and provides amazing service. He made sure we were well taken care of and made sure to personally check in to see how the food was. Great establishment.

We must’ve visited on an off day? The service was poor, the food & presentation was left a lot to be desired. The atmosphere was cozy. We tried the butcher plate along with mac n cheese and coleslaw. Hoping to give another chance in the future for a better experience!

We wanted to-go food and were thinking of driving all the way out to 407 and tried this instead. Wow!! This BBQ is delicious. We had turkey, chopped brisket and sausage. I can’t decide what was better, they were all amazing. The turkey was cooked to perfection and has a peppered seasoning. The chopped brisket was lean which I loved. The BBQ sauce was great also. We met the owner who was super welcoming. Well done and we will be back soon!

Restaurant has potential to be 5 stars provided additional wait staff and improve food presentation to a more appetizing layout. Very Good Food,drinks,Band music!
