“My son grnerally picks this up for me as take out. I have had several entres from the menu and I am always satisfied. The food is never cold, and the portion sizes and prices are good. I have said that you can pretty much get almost any Chinese dish as well as some American dishes here at Luckys. It is worth a try.“

“Where to begin? They were so helpful and patient with us (it had been years since we were in a Pei Wei last). The young lady who helped us was friendly and professional as she patiently explained the different foods and options. Service was fairly quick considering how MUCH food we ordered, and speaking of the food? So good, and so much. We had enough to make lunches the next day for everybody in the household. So 1 meal was enough to feed 3 people twice“

“The food is very cheap and surprisingly, it is pretty good, especially considering the price. The portion sizes are huge. I get the combination (2 entrees and rice/noodles) and it is basically two full meals for me, and I chow down. I’ve been coming here for years now and it has become my favorite Chinese takeout. Favorites are the Jalapeño Chicken and Chicken with Mushrooms.“

“I don't live far from here! It's small and it's not a chain which I like. My fiancé and I eat here frequently when we are feeling lazy. The old lady at the counter always greets us with a smile and is so sweet Everytime we are in there. The food is yummy. The first time we ate there we were very surprised at how fresh the food was and ever since have loved going there. A+!“

“Went for an early dinner. Very friendly staff. Very clean & updated decor. I ordered the mushroom chicken. Flavorful & delicious! Serving was plentiful. I would definitely go back.
The only downside- 2 homeless guys came in asking to buy them food at different times. So that was a turnoff. But if you are in the area- the food is great.“

“It's a hole in the wall and not here for ambience.. think better than Panda Express sit down restaurant but what it lacks in ambience, the value and decent quality food is there. Lunch special is quite something $9 or under for bowl of soup, spring roll and entree that includes fried rice. Value can't be beat, quality is ok, I've only had the Orange Chicken which was decent. This place gets a decent lunch crowd for what it is. But a solid 3.8/5 place to go and have lunch.“

“Visiting my parents while in town and was looking for some Chinese takeout. Tried this place and was pleasantly surprised. Staff was efficient and friendly, and I didn't have to wait too long for my food which was fresh and hot.
We tried several dishes:
The steamed dumplings were on target and tasty.
The hot and sour soup may not have been the best I ever had, but it is far better than most I've had.
My mom thought the broccoli chicken was outstanding. She also really liked their egg rolls.
I thought the flavor of the lo mein was good, but that the noodles were just a hair on the soft side.
The Mongolian beef was tasty, but had a slightly sweet flavor that I don't normally associate with that dish. It was still very good.
Overall we were impressed and will be ordering from them again.“

“First time ordering from King Wok and we are all super pleased! The Hot & Sour Soup was great, wish it had more tofu, but it was delicious! I ordered the Kung Pao San Yien, and the shrimp was plump and perfectly cooked, the beef and chicken were great, and the sauce flavor was super yummy!

The Orange chicken tasted great and had an impressive amount of sauce, spicy but very flavorful. There was lots of chicken in the chicken fried rice, and the rice was fluffy. The beef and broccoli is my husband favorite, and it was also really good!

Crab Rangoon is always a go to for my family, and it did not disappoint. The egg rolls were a little dry on the ends, but tasted good. The portion sizes are AMAZING! So much food, great prices, and the delivery was right on time!

“They do not take credit cards. Wonderful authentic food variety even without BBQ. We enjoyed and shared large servings of traditional Chinese dishes of cashew chicken, beef and broccoli. Best were the egg rolls — WINNER! Service was great and food comes out quickly. Good spacious family place. Just make sure you have plenty of cash before coming because you will find plenty to like…wonder what happens if someone discovers they do NOT have enough cash because they are used to using credit cards?“

“The Chinese here is some of the best we've found in the DFW metroplex. The general tso's is very good - a nice combination of spicy and savory. The egg rolls are fine but nothing super special. The beef and broccoli is a solid choice as well. Big portions. Great value.“

From the salad bar dressing to the pickled okra to the lo mein, to the fried rice, the shrimp, the crawfish, the mushrooms, the chicken dishes...just not fresh and tasted horrible. The sushi looked decent but I was too scared to eat it bc I could tell the hot bar food wasn't fresh....I wasn't going to try my luck on their raw fish. It was a complete waste of money and I do not recommend at all. I love good Chinese food but this was probably the worst I've had. Surprisingly, they were crowded though. “What makes their food so good is the sauce. Whether you order Hunan, Teriyaki, Kung Pao, etc, they all taste like they should, actual Chinese seasonings and not just a pile of sugar, soy sauce, and msg like most other fast Chinese places these days.

I find myself going back to this place again and again. They’re also fast at getting the food out too, so you never wait all that long. Highly recommended.“

“Been coming here since 2001. Food has always been amazing. Service through the years overall good but a few instances hit or miss. Last 6 months service has been AMAZING. Food still great. Don’t know what has changed but this is a hit to come to now.“

“I visit Asian Gourmet often on my lunch break between 11AM-12PM. Items I typically order are the wonton soup, the chicken with broccoli lunch special, as well as the Hunan chicken lunch special which is featured below. The service is fast(best to call in), the food is flavorful, and the portions are enough for 2 meals(at least, for me). I see lots of negative reviews but I have personally never had a negative experience with Asian Gourmet. I hope this review helps! Also, the prices on any online menu are definitely outdated.
