“Today was the second time I have visited Lucky Wok. The first time, I had the Hunan chicken, which was fairly good. A decent ratio of sauce, meat, and veggies. This time, I had the roast pork with mushrooms. I thought they might add some carrots, onions, or some other veggies as a little filler between the pork and the mushrooms, but nope. lol! I got exactly what I asked for, roast pork, mushrooms, and some sauce. If you like mushrooms, definitely go for it. The sauce was a dark smooth sauce, possibly oyster sauce as a base. The steamed rice is pretty average. No real complaints at all about any of the food. The lady who has rang me up twice is nice, asks if you need soy sauce, adds a fork to your bag, etc. the interior of the restaurant is a bit dingy. The menu above the counter is clearly fairly old. They still have the plastic shielding up on the counter from quarantine days, and there still aren’t many chairs or tables out in the dining area. Overall, it’s definitely worth a try. I’ll absolutely be coming in from time to time to keep trying various menu selections.“

“Alexa was amazing! She took our orders with a smile, gave my sister and me thoughtful ornaments, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food came out quickly and was delicious. Alexa even brought us to-go boxes without us asking and was so kind to other customers, engaging in warm conversations. Her kindness and humanity truly stood out—especially during the holidays. Thank you, Alexa, for making our visit so special!“

“Parking: Super helpful staff with guidance thru large menu selection. Fresh cooked made to order. We enjoy this location a lot. We live in a rural area with zero access to Pei Wei so when at the FTW horse shows we ALWAYS come over for the flavors offered here.“

“Isabella was my bartender/server. It was my first time there and I came in looking for a happy hour for drinks n apps. The drinks and apps were great, but my server is what really shined. She was so knowledgeable about the menu, giving me great suggestions, extremely friendly, and very attentive. I watched her multitask from the service bar, making drinks while also helping new servers with questions on drinks and never making any bar guests feel neglected. If you stop in definitely sit in her section. I will be back.

“First time to have had some good shrimp egg fu young in Texas. The portions were large and I could barely finish one. As I was thinking about leaving a review I opened my fortune cookie and it said “Follow your instincts” haha. On top of that, they have real fortune cookies. “Amazing! My husband and I tried it last night. We are both from the East Coast and have been in TX for the last 2 years. We were starting to give up on finding a good Chinese food restaurant here, thankfully we stumbled on this place. Portions are PLENTIFUL, and flavor is AMAZING! It’s not East Coast Chinese however it’s our new Go to spot. Definitely going again. And the price was great we both ate and had leftovers for $24.“

“A modest eatery which offers very tasty Chinese cuisine at a rather reasonable price. What amazed me was the quantity they serve. In my personal assessment, one order is good for at least three people. The service is excellent, to say the least.

The fact that they served the food in disposables was the least of our concerns considering the quality of the food. Though it would have been nice had they served their food with proper crockery and cutleries, and had table service. However, we did notice a good number of customers walking in for takeaways, while there were no other seated customers all the time we were there. That gave me the impression that this was a place better known for its takeaways than for dining in.

“I ordered the Lunch Orange Chicken special. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food. The food was flavorful and fresh. The Orange Chicken was a nice portion and meaty. The egg roll was delicious. The price was very affordable and one of the best lunch specials I came across.“

They are quick, affordable, delicious and kind.
Love the food and service. We order here about 3 times a month. We have specific requests to exclude items in a dish. Today I ordered and I forgot to add a sauce request in the comment section online. They included it anyway. They remembered and made my night! NOWHERE these days go above and beyond but DRAGON EXPRESS still does EVERY TIME. I will continue to support and strongly encourage you to as well.

“I've been wanting to come here for a while. Every time I shop at Rainbow or Ashley's, I say imma try it out but never do, the outside appeal isn't the fanciest but ususlly the goid spots are like that. I read over reviews like 20x and was still undecided. Today 3/11/24 I had time to stop and I'm not disappointed. I will go back!

“I have ordered here for nearly 16 years; they have consistently great flavor, value and a wonderfully family-feeling crew.
Tonight they managed their normal Saturday business and a medical emergency outside the business without missing a beat, but with a lot of compassion. We are lucky to have this establishment in our neighborhood!“

I have a food allergy, my hubby made a comment about it, and the server recommended different options to go with, that's a total plus in my book. The ordering was fast, accurate and it didn't bank the bank. I hardly ever eat Chinese food, the flavor was SO good.

“I've been coming to this hole-in-the-wall place for years now. I've tried their other dishes which is good, but I always find myself ordering the lunch Teriyaki chicken bowl.

I believe they make the Teriyaki from scratch cause it's so good. I always order extra sauce just because of it. The chicken is cut very thin, and what I like is how sticky yet fluffy the rice is. I've made sushi with the rice I don't finish.“

“We always stop in on our way home from work. Food is always fresh and hot. They have several options to choose from and even more that is cooked to order. They are also A small store that have little things you can buy. Diffently recommend.“

“They do not take credit cards. Wonderful authentic food variety even without BBQ. We enjoyed and shared large servings of traditional Chinese dishes of cashew chicken, beef and broccoli. “For years this place has remained consistent with their food quality but over the past couple of years they've gotten kind of cheap in starting off with premade noodles in a clump that you have to try to soften and break up in the broth at least as far as their Pho is concerned. Their combination fried rice is excellent, they're spring rolls are really good and their Korean BBQ interestingly enough is quite good too.“

“I arrived initially perplexed by the location. I was unaware it’s in a mall (lower level, come in, come downstairs, it’s on your right) but once I found the location I was helped right away! There was a nice lady at the counter whom informed of the wait for fresh food (about 20 minutes) I sat and waited. I’m really glad I did! The food is pretty good! I love Asian food and will patronize any Asian restaurant if the food is good. It’s kinda hard to mess up fried rice, and they don’t disappoint here. The portions are amazing for the price! I’m having the rest of my dinner for lunch today! The flavor? Immaculate! I used two soy sauce packets (my usual) but the rice is fine without it. The chicken is flavorful, and decently sized. Fresh cebolla, and veggies. I will definitely visit again! I’ve just moved to ft.worth and asian food is basically my comfort food. I’m glad I found a spot close to my house (10 minute drive) with just what I was looking for. Thank you!“

“Not the best, not the worst. Best items there are; fried sushi, coconut shrimp, rangoons, egg drop soup, crab legs and sautéed mushrooms. They also have hibachi we haven't tried yet. The things I found unappealing were a few things. The ice cream has been melted and frozen over too many times. The salad didn't come with Lettuce or greens. The place is kind of dingy looking and they over charged us by 10$. Yes, it was fixed and alls well. The customer service was overly good, obnoxiously so. These things can be easily fixed. I'd give another try since they are local.“

“Today was my first time here to enjoy dinner, the food was delicious and the waitress was very helpful. I saw a table next to me making unreasonable requests to my waitress and laughing at her. My daughter is also a waitress, so I can understand the hard work of waitresses, so I was unhappy with these rude people. Overall it was a good experience and I will come again“

“Chinese Food place of Legend.Of all the locations they have, this is the best one I've been to.Their orange chicken and black pepper shrimp are special.They are also cleaner, here, and they do a better job of stirring their food, so that it stays fresh.Nobody beats the quantity for the price.One of the very best places to get Chinese Food in the history of the World.
