Disappointed. While the the food was good, the care and service sorely lacked. When my coffee arrived, there was a very noticeable chip on the mouth of the cup. I brought it to the attention of the server and she respinded with, "All of our cups are chipped." Really?? I explained I'm a diabetic and can't chance cutting my lip. This is my first time visiting the downtown area of Forney. Downtown Forney only has a couple of downtown shops and places to eat. Crumbzz definitely makes downtown Forney a place to visit. I ordered the grilled cheese and onion soup. I ate on their side porch area that they have which was very nice especially dining solo. Their eggs benedict with jalapeno sausage patties are consistently flavorful and delicious. The humble fruit cup helps cool the pallet. Their Texas pecan coffee is aromatic and balanced. Their cold apple cider is refreshing. Plenty of food options on their menu. The staff is kind and engaging even when busy with other guests. The atmosphere is family-friendly, relaxed and cozy. My family and I have been going here regularly for brunch for over a year.
