“The food is normally pretty good but on the flip side to that is the food chains don't have their own drinks, but rather have the fountains in the lobby and they often don't work or work well. The lobby is a little bare, but it's spacious and decently comfortable.”

“Service is phenomenal and their Afternoon Tea is priced decently $39/pp. I have been to Afternoon tea in Dallas at Adolphus and their food on their afternoon tea is much better than the one in Adolphus. They have a lot of tea choices and you can have any tea you wanted.”

“Today I stopped in for lunch and it was VERY busy. There was a lady up at the front, who I could tell was struggling with some of the orders.
I noticed 3 things:
1. She had amazing customer service with a contagious smile.
2. English was not her first language, and I'm pretty sure hernative language is French.
3. Her coworkers were VERY rude to her.
For those who have never had to work in second language, please understand that she has to translate EVERYTHING in her head before she is able to do the orders that are being thrown at her, while also being constantly told she is "messing up", or "ruining orders".
The ONLY reason I am giving a 5 star review(which you could use, considering you have a 3 star review average), is because I saw this girl trying her absolute best, and giving amazing customer service with a smile on her face, while being degraded right infront of me.
Do better by her, and others Slim Chickens team.
Maybe do some Empathy training.”

“Why I love Alamo Pecan & Coffee Company.... What is not to love about their coffee!!! I was never a coffee drinker until I tried their Texas Pecan Coffee. It is the most delicious coffee I've ever drank and is not bitter at all. Being a pecan lover I also had to try their pecans.......which I cannot get enough of. They are the freshest pecans I've ever eaten and I can't bring myself to go back to the brand I was eating. My favorite are the plain pecans, roasted buttered and salted pecans, praline pecans, honey toasted pecans, toffee dipped pecans and the chocolate toffee dipped pecans. DId I mention that I love pecans, lol!!! And just so you know, they ALL pair perfectly with their coffee. They also have gift baskets that make excellent gifts. I so hope you give them a try. Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed.”
