“I swung by Popeyes the other day to grab me a 2-piece dark meat with fries. Now, don’t get me wrong—Popeyes sure does know how to fry up some tasty chicken! But I’ll tell ya, if you’re hankerin’ for dark meat like I do, you best check that box before you leave. Seems like they don’t always know dark meat from white meat. I’ve gotten white meat instead a time or two, and that just ain’t the same! Still, I reckon I’d give ‘em a good 4 outta 5, ‘cause when they get it right, it’s finger-lickin’ good. “Been awhile since I ordered fries. Are the Crinkle fries a newer change? They were EXCELLANT, hot, crisp on outside, done right on the inside. Service was fast, even with a lot of customers.
Only downside is the faux whip cream and cherry on the shake. I keep forgetting to tell them without. But the wife took care of it.“

“Coming in to the restaurant, everyone was on their cell phone. However, they gave us a few seconds to figure out what we wanted (we already knew why we were there! ?). The lady whose name I did not get was extremely polite and cordial. We ordered four blizzards, one sundae, and helped one of our group of six get all of the finished products to the table, which occurred actually very rapidly (I had barely time to use the restroom). The Brookie Blizzard was good, and no one else had complaints although we had just come off of a 5 mi hike at Colorado Bend State Park and were in need of refreshment which DQ provided. Four stars because the cleanliness of the restaurant was a little bit lacking: our table was dirty as was the booth seat. Others have mentioned the drive-thru which is more of a pull-up order window.....just go inside and get some steps in!!“
